The only downside was that there was no air conditioning. It was turned off as of October 1. The temperature outside was warm, and the sun beat directly on our room. The rooms were pretty warm and there are still a lot of mosquitos around so we didn’t want to leave windows open. Alex supplied fans the second night, which helped.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. Alex was easy to reach and gave great restaurant recommendations.

As you have to approach Hotel from the main CORSO UMBERTO up some steep steps. A lack of an obvious Hotel SIGNAGE made it somewhat confusing to locate.

Superb Hotel in ideal location for all that Taormina has to offer. We treated ourselves to the Double room with an enormous Terrace which made for enjoyable interludes in the evening gazing over the lovely vista of the sea below and Mnt ETNA Volcano in the distance. Cannot speak too highly of our Host ALEX.... a most welcoming, approachable and informative Gentleman. We had an unfortunate issue with the failure of one of our Suitcases not arriving from Catania Airport. All our efforts were to no avail to retrieve it. Alex going beyond and above the call of Duty intervened on our behalf and was successful in having the luggage delivered. What could have been a Disastrous Holiday outcome was averted by Alex. Once again, Thank You Alex!

the property decided to turn off A/C right before our stay. we learnt it during our arrival so it was a bit of a problem with hot wheather. but Alex was nice enough to help compensate for this issue.

The hotel the chevalier has been one of the highlights of our trip. It’s location at the center of Taormina makes it easy to access any point of the city. The hotel has a cosy feeling to it and the room great view. Of course without forgetting Alex the man in charge who gave us great advice and recommendations. This trip would have definitely been a bit dull without him. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough

The fridge in the room did not keep things that cool, but really other than that it was a lovely hotel.

Very comfortable, clean, cool (! important in the 30+ degree weather) room, balcony was very large and had a spectacular view of the city and the sea. Alex at management was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel le Chevalier was perfect, my room had so much space and the terrace view was incredible. Super central and close to everything. Alex was extremely welcoming and helpful. Definitely want to come back again for another stay :)

The localization was excellent, just 50 meters from the main street with all the stores and restaurants. The room was big and confortable, as well as the bathroom. The highlight was the hotel manager, Alex, extremely helpful, gave good ideas on how to enjoy Taormina, and Sicily in general, tips to the point, really knowledgeable

The bathroom was very small. If you open the door, could'n get to the toilet directly. It was very clean and modern but very small. The other downside is that to get to the hotel you have to claim street stairs from the Main Street. I had a small carry-on but it would be very difficult if you go with bigger luggage, specially during the Summer heat.

Alessandro, the host/manager was very kind, helpful and spoke very good English (which I found is very rare in Sicily...even with people that work with tourist). The location of the hotel was very convenient for me, very close to Via Umberto, the Main Street. The Hotel was very quite (even though is very near to the centre) and very clean. It has an elevator, which is not usual.
