The host was ready to take Whatsapp calls and messages prior to arrival but once we were there advised that she cannot take calls and we had to message a few times to get a response & she also just ignored the messages & did not respond at all. We advised the guy who brought the keys and he said he would get her to call as it was not his job to deal with issues. The TV did not work, the safe did not work, the water flow was so bad that some days we could not even have a shower - we advised the host the day we arrived. She said the water flow was a problem in Rome but we have a friend who lives near Termini station and she had no water problems at all. We asked the guy who brought the key for a change of towels but had none. We had to ask for toilet rolls as there was only the one we found on arrival. I cannot understand how this place possibly has a 9.4 rating with Booking.com

The location is ideal as it it central to Vatican, Castle, Metro and places to eat

Staff weren't there at all. No one was there to open door for us we wait them for an hour. They didn't answer phone calls either. Wifi password was wrong but when we asked they just said it works for other rooms. There wasn't water as well on the shower. İt took time to solve this issue and their first response to this problem is again "no problem on other rooms". Switching on light cause fuse to go off. To get hot water you need at least wait 15mins water running from shower. Room cleaning is not daily. İf you are lucky or specifically ask by messaging the owners you may get otherwise not. Building is not soundproof at all we heard not only other rooms on the same floor but even other floors.

Only good things is location but there are other high rating hotels in the area as well.

On arrival our room was dirty! It was not cleaned once! Dirty shower, toilet, sink! Black hair on floors, no toilet paper! Wifi and TV not working! Lamps were about to fall down and one was broken. We contacted the property and our issues, but nothing was done for 4 days! (Unfortunately we didn’t have the chance to move somewhere else) Terrible/No customer service! Definitely a total no go! Especially now during Covid-19! Forwarded case to Booking.com

the mattress was very uncomfortable the cubbord had a awful smell of smoke and sweat so couldn’t hang out clouths up the owner didn’t show up at checkin on time nor did he show up at checkout no milk or sugar at the hotel had to buy our own only one pillow each really thin walls could hear eveything from other rooms and almost located in a block of flats super dusty and super noisy on Friday and sat

If you are taller or wider set you might have a harder time getting into the shower cabin as it is a bit small but honestly that did not change anything about our overall excellent experience.

It was very clean, beautiful, the location was excellent and the neighbourhood felt safe. It was 20 or so minutes away by foot from almost all the main tourist locations, which also allowed us to come home for an afternoon nap if we were too tired. There are also public transport buses which you can take. Castle Sant' Aneglo and The Vatican are just a few minutes away, which is also excellent, and Trastevere, where you can pop off for some excellent food and atmosphere.
