They didn't let us know that there was a bike race that closed off blocks around the hotel. We had to park over a mile away, which was such a pain hauling luggage for 6 people, 3 of which were age 4 and under

The parking at the hotel is a paid extra, something I wasn't clear on when booked. They kindly gave me a free night and then I parked on the street nearby. Wifi strength in my room was a little weak, but speed was good.

Room comfort and cleanliness were good. Location near the sea was very good and received a warm welcome. Breakfast was good with a few hot items too.

Don’t spend extra on sea view, it is not worth it, the hotel is behind bigger hotel and you will only see a bit of the sea if you really try. Equipment of the room is starting to show wear - kettle, power sockets. We were sometimes undersupplied of toilet paper. The AC is blowing directly to the bed and with centrally controlled temperature, your options are basically on/off and the fan speed that does not seem to change a lot.

Breakfast is lacking refilling, the speed is slow. I waited 20 min for a refill of ham. If you reach in the begining, there is plenty, later on is not sure :)

The bathroom could have done with an upgrade. It wouldn't cost too much to make it a wet room with modern fittings. There is no bathroom at the reception. And there were some elements that around the room that could be more polished and fixed such as an adjustment door to another room, which was locked but the handle was missing and the mini fridge was very hot almost as if it could be an electrical hazard being sat in a cupboard.

Excellent comfy pillows and slean bed/ aircon although it was load. Easy to park right next door £10 for 24 hours. Kinda should be free for hotel guests I think. There is a mini fridge and lots of clean soft towels. I think over all a welcome retreat with great access to the promanad and private beaches. Just a short walk to the public beach for if you don't want to pay for a bed.

The reception staff is not friendly! we came one hour earlier from the check-in time and hotel was closed. We had an information in front of hotel’s door with a phone number written to be called. The person on the line was rude and mentioned that we came one hour earlier !!! the issue is it was raining, hotel/reception closed and needed to wait outside with my luggage and family. Requesting information at the reception about Tourismus or basic things was also terrible ! No clue and no proactivity! Breakfast not worth to pay in the hotel!! It’s better to go to a coffee shop on the streets with happy employees!!

The hotel advertised a restaurant, that was really just the kitchen that put out a continental breakfast, no evening meal. There wasn’t anybody serving behind the bar, if someone was on reception they would get you a drink. On our second day there was no body there so we couldn’t have a drink.

The room was excellent. It looked recently decorated and was spacious. Good location to the beach.

It is a bit expensive destination and you may expect more for your money value, but it was August and it is very busy touristic area after all...

Honestly I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, but everything was all right. The hotel is very near the beach, but does not own any sunbeds so expect additional expenses. Parking is also a bit difficult as it is touristic center after all, but if you write an e-mail in advance, the hotel will secure the parking for you. Cleaning was just excellent at this hotel, we even left a tip for the cleaning ladies because they deserved it 100%.
