Good sized rooms, warm, off road parking

Not a dislike but an observation. The accommodation is NOT a hotel. The restaurant is only open at the hours they put in their notes. We respected that and were able to get around this. We couldn’t order a Gin and Tonic before dinner as there were certain licence issues that stopped them selling this. Not a worry we had to drink Prosecco as our aperitif. Lovely and well priced. Don’t let any of the above put you off. This place is superb..!

We booked the hotel based mainly on location. We were travelling along the south of France and thought we would want to stop somewhere near Sanremo. I searched via the map function and found this hotel. I didn’t read too much about it but booked two nights. We had a long drive and were glad to arrive. The road leading to the hotel is a little narrow but we arrived safe and sound. We were welcomed and shown our room which was huge. We had booked a table in the restaurant and were so glad we did , the food and service were amazing.

The place, the style, the warm welcome and the staff (nice and efficient). An excellent choice of food and wines. We had a pleasurable stop and rest on our way to the south.

Rooms are a little bite out of fashion and not well soundproofed. Recommended to staying the top floor of possible.

Stubbing location in a beautiful part of the Liguri region. We stayed there of a night to visit the surroundings and the local villages . Highly recommend to eat at their restaurant.

We loved it all

A large comfortable room in a lovely old building, surrounded by beautiful grounds. The food was amazing and staff were welcoming. The breakfast selection was fantastic.

The position of the hotel in the lovely country side. The restaurant was very good , the food was excellent and the staff very attentive to our needs .

Wifi was weak as a consequence of being in a smaller regional community.

This is an excellent small hotel set in an old mill at the confluence of two small rivers although neither is particularly obvious. The room was of generous size and charming style with air conditioning, heater and good bathroom. Staff were excellent as was the restaurant which is part of the hotel. Breakfast provided a good range of options.

Ok we thought. Let’s read our books. The mattress of our bed felt like it had wholes in it. My partner Anita tried to sleep the opposite way. That didn’t work . The noise from above us was obvious too . Next morning after no sleeping well the shower cubicle was too small. We are 60 years old and fit. The inability to bend over in the shower is crazy. Poor design. They have the room for a walk in shower but used a cheaper style. Wait this gets better. We went to breakfast. Everything layed out but no hygiene covers for cheese, meats or juice on ice. Flys on everything . I had a drink of one juice . I lold Anita that tasted funky. So I had the orange juice. That was slightly better but weird taste like not freshly squeezed a pack mix. We asked a staff member to cook eggs & make coffee for both Anita and I . We ate the eggs they were ok. But the coffee also tasted funky then I started to feel poorly. We both left the table back to the room brushed our teeth. I was certainly deteriorating but kept going. We then drove and parked at San Remo. Went to a clothes market . That’s when I stepped to the rear and vomitted up the orange juice. Add to this an Italian Truck Driver reversed on us while we drove past it. It was parked then reversed out no warning complete negligence. We had lots of damage to our vehicle, police attended the accident. I called our hire car company who told us take to Nice for repairs. We went back to B&B to pack and left. I informed the host of property because I couldn’t find them to discuss our situation. Plus I was sick too. So I emailed property owner . You can see the audit trail of my correspondence. All day travelling to Nice I’d pull over a couple of times to get sick a vomitt up orange juice that colour. Now the host doesn’t want to take responsibility or believe me . I don’t make up stories I’m a honest man. I will report this property to you and the Heath authorities in Italy. In Australia there would be an investigation.

On the surface the property looked ok the host was nice and welcoming. Until we came back ready to have a relax . We wanted to watch tv. The tv didn’t work !!!
