Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandBe mindful when choosing rooms that there are two buildings. If you stay in the farther one, it means you have to walk to restaurant and pool about 300m of 5-6 mins. It disnt bother us, but be sure to confirm if you are challenged in movement (its hilly, has steps etc.)
Absolute perfection. The facilities, the staff and of courae, the restaurant were all top notch in comparison with the price range. Special thanks to restaurant staff - made our visit memorable.

United StatesShower was a little small and no pool towels available. You had to use your room towels or go down to the reception area and pay for extra towels. Reception was closed 12-3pm so it was a little inconvenient if you arrived during that time or if you needed something.
Le Mandrie was an idyllic farmhouse in the Montesperetoli countryside with amazing views. Our room was lovely with a balcony that overlooked the most dreamy Tuscan landscape! Breakfast was fantastic with pancetta bacon, scrambled eggs, tuscan pastries, cornetto, fresh fruits and wonderful breads and toppings! We were there for 4 days and every day there was something a little different that the day before. The grounds were just beautiful with cypress trees and roses in full bloom along with the beautiful olive groves. Beautiful pool and sunbathing area, but pool was not heated and water was ice cold but refreshing.

ItalyLe Mandrie is a family-run agriturismo set on higher ground, in open countryside southwest of Florence. We stayed one night as a stopover night on our car journey and wished we had booked a couple more nights. We would definitely stay here again. The rooms, though relatively simple in decor, were very comfortable and clean and the beds afforded an excellent night's sleep. We arrived in the evening, shortly after the stated check-in hours, but this was not a problem. What struck us on arrival at the property was the silence and the peace surrounding us. From the property gardens, lights could be seen flickering from several villages across the valley and a few people were sitting outside the building enjoying a drink and the pleasant evening atmosphere. We had dinner in the restaurant on site and the gluten free options available for the member of our party with coeliac (and the restaurant staff's clear understanding of coeliac requirements) meant that we were all able to enjoy the evening meal, without feeling that one of us was excluded from a delightful Tuscan dinner. A big thank you to Chef Elia and his excellent team for having taken care of us! Breakfast also offered several gluten free options, which was great. The cappuccino was very good and available self-service from a coffee machine - just how I like it, "on tap"! But what really sets this agriturismo aside were the breathtaking open views over rolling Tuscan countryside that greeted us in the morning. Spectacular.

SerbiaYou can check in only till 7pm. Little bit cold in the room.
Big property. It is divides into two parts. We were in the one 500m from the reception and the pool. Very good restaurant and the guy who was serving the dinner was very nice. Nice food and the service there. The nature around is stunning.

SerbiaDinner at the restaurant was tasteful, but the portion size was very small. Breakfast was mostly sweet. There are usually 4 boiled eggs and very little omelet served. You need to wait for them to bring more of it. Be aware that there is no one at the reception between 10 am and 3 pm and after 7 pm.
The scenery around the property is very beautiful. Very peaceful and esthetic, real Tuscany style surroundings. Beds are really conformable. Side note: There are two buildings, our room was in a building that is separate from the restaurant, so we needed to walk or drive to the restaurant (it is really close by, but it has stairs and you need to walk up the hill)

SingaporeGreat accommodation set in beautiful surroundings. The family suite we stayed in was very cozy, the bed is comfortable and shower is great, to what adds an outside patio with table and chairs overlooking the beautiful garden and the stunning tuscan landscape. Perfect place to relax and unwind for a couple of days in between city walks. Staff was extremely nice, very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious meals, and a scrumptious breakfast. The bust stop is just down the driveway and 40 mins to Florence city. Best to have a car to explore the surroundings, but public transportation is reasonably convenient if is just Florence yu want to see. If back in the region, will definitely book again. What an amazing place!

AustriaWalls are thin between the rooms, but its no fault of this particular hotel, as every hotel we stayed in Italy over the years have the same issue. Bring earplugs, if you are a light sleeper, like me!
This facility is amazing, we liked it very very much! The room had a wonderful view, it was comfortable and big enough ( we stayed at Luna). The breakfast was nice, with a choice of sweet and savoury dishes, fresh fruit, different type of coffees etc. The food in the evening was excellent, every night there were daily specials, greatly explained by the waiters, who could not have been more attentive. We loved the white house wine, their own production. The ladies on reception have been ever so helpful and I personally completely fall in love with the owner's dog. As we went in October, we could not use the swimming pool, but it looks gorgeous and would be wonderful in the summer. Ripalta is also on top of a small hill, just outside of Montespertoli, so very secluded. And beautiful. Conveniently located to go deeper in the tuscan countryside, or travel to Florence. Grazie mille!

United StatesNo complains everything was fine.
Breakfast was excellent with a nice variety of items to choose from. Mandrie di Ripalta was in a great location only a 45-minute bus ride into Florence. Great staff and a special thanks to David our sever in the restaurant and Alexia in the reception area for all her help.

United KingdomBeautiful food Exceptional staff We didn't realise it's on 2 sites...so check first as the other barns are up a track and not near mains facilities. They did move us on second night as I had an issue with my ankle...but I didn't think it's that obvious if you are booking from this site. They make it clear on their main website. Food and staff are incredible.

SloveniaFriendliness of the staff, great tips about the Florence and nearby villages. Nice breakefast, nice pool and great location. Just make sure because some of the rooms are located on the different location (cca. 500m away) and you will need to drive or walk to the main building. But it makes great short walk in the morning :)

North MacedoniaThis is not related to the hotel, just the location: The hotel staff recommended us to rent a car, but unfortunately we were too late to make reservations.. it's still reachable by bus from Florence, but having a car to get to the property would have been much more pleasant. We loved the location though, and we'd definitely go back some day!
We had a room with the most amazing sunrise view overlooking other wineries and the silhouette of Montespertoli, the room was old and preserved with the old authentic style but very clean and obviously maintained. We had great breakfast and couple of amazing dinners at the restaurant with their local wine, and the staff was really pleasant. We also enjoyed staying last at the restaurant and having all the silence and amazing experience to ourselves. We also had some relaxing time by the pool (we stayed beginning of September and it was still quite hot). We also walked around the vineyards and up to Montespertoli and by the local road it was a good road and scenery for a run.

RomaniaThe lack of functional bicycles, as advertised on booking: there were only 5 bikes. 3 of them had flat tires and for the other 2 the breaks didn't function properly (and in our situation this was a factor in deciding on the accommodation). The room we stayed in didn't have any mosquito nets, the insects were quite a problem, even with the "bug gadget" that was available plugged in. A little more extra facilities for recreation would have been appreciated.
The breakfast was excellent, plenty of really good savory and sweet options to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly with high regards to the waiters catering the dinner service in the restaurant. The room and bathroom were cleaned daily. We arrived earlier than the check-in time, having this announced beforehand, and they prepared our room with almost 2 hours in advance than the scheduled check-in time.
