How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Loved the location. Almost impossible to beat, in terms of easy and convenient walking access to everything in Aosta, including historic sites, restaurants, shopping, etc. Daily breakfast was also amazing!

There was nothing that we didn't like.
Great location, beautiful room, very friendly and helpful staff. We were given a map of the town when we checked in and shown where we could find free parking as well as the top sights. Tatiana also gave us a very good restaurant recommendation. Having good coffee and tea in our room was a plus.

Very little! Breakfast was good but not great
Fantastic location in heart of town centre, magnificent room in beautifully renovated building. Wonderful reception by our host, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. I thoroughly recommend this hotel!

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. I would not rate it as fabulous as on booking. I would have expected a buffet and it was not. Croissants were basic. Cake okay. Good selection of salty options.

It is a great place to stay in a great city. The location is perfect and the people are friendly and helpful. When we return we will stay there and recommend others to come to Aosta and when they do stay at Le Reve Charmant.

The light switches were wired funky. Light switch in the bathroom turned on wall sconce by the bed.

Everything is just perfect! Communication was proactive and very helpful, every detail was explained. The room is very nice, with daily cleaning service and superb bathroom. Everything you need was there, including such a small but making a huge difference thing like shaving set and toothbrush! The breakfast is just perfect, with fresh local products, great coffee, and freshly baked croissant, which smell is waking you up in the morning. The location is great, and the free parking is in 5 min walking. The cable car to the hills is in 5 min driving. Walking trails from Cogne and Lillaz in 35 min driving. Perfect stay. Will miss Aosta with its peaceful and easy pace and terrific views to the mountains. Thanks for the perfect stay!!

The lighting system was very futuristic and as old people we had a hard time with it. I think we would have figured it out had we stayed longer.

The airco behind the curtains is not so effective, we kept therefore the vurtains open, which means early day light!

The Alpine decor and location
Truly charming located in a restricted zone however the staff accommodated our arrival by car and provided assistance. Recommend wonderful restaurants near property and the historic sites are easily accessible. Staff more than helpful

Fantastic rustic room but wonderful comfortable super king size bed and great modern bathroom. The whole place decorated with gorgeous antics and paintings. Breakfast was served with fabulous Aosta products, notably the cheeses, bread and yogurts.
