Clean, comfortable, spacious apartment with great amenities. The location is unbelievable, easily walking distance to all the main attractions, right amongst the action of via Marqueda but surprisingly quiet inside the apartment. The host Gabriel is very accommodating, with great communication. Possibly the best information booklet I’ve ever come across in an apartment!

Great location on the main pedestrian street in old part of town. It was quiet and private. Great wifi, lift to access high floors. Air conditioning in both bedrooms. Extra things like washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar, bottled water, laundry detergent and toilet paper were all there and available to use. It was a nice touch. Helpful book on tips and hints on checkin. All linen supplied.

Nothing! It was the best stay I had in Sicilia.

It’s centrally located, very clean, beautifully decorated, kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. Even though it’s right in the midst of old town with all the bars/restaurants downstairs, you can’t hear any noise from the 4th floor. It was a perfect little escape from the crowds. I had the best sleep at this apt. The host family lives next door and are available to answer any questions. They are super responsive and helpful.

The place has a perfect location in the hearth of Palermo. All the attractions are in a walking distance. It is really big, clean and equipped with everything necessary. The host is really friendly and responsive. We loved it!

It was all fantastic

From the first moment of meeting our hosts we were totally happy with their caring manner, the very lovely large apartment full of everything you could need even included bottled water. There are antique interesting inclusions and the builing is from 1800s. The surprise for us was that it is right in the middle of the happening mall of Palermo. Beds were very comfy (2 queens) in very large, bedrooms with high celings. There is a lift. Strangely enough it is quiet whilst lots of restaurants and bars below. My friend and i rate Stanze di Federico 10 out of 10. 2 female long time friends from Qld., Australia.

We stayed at several apartments during our two weeks tour around Sicily and this was by far the best apartment. Just in the heart of Palermo, spacious, clean and tidy. The host had equipped the apartment with everything that we may need during our stay and also had prepared detailed information with useful tips for the city and any queries that we may had. The communication was very easy and responded promptly to our questions. Daniele who waited for us at the apartment for check in was very friendly and explained us everything about the apartment. Palermo is a really interesting city and this apartment is the best place to start exploring it.

There is nothing that we didn’t like. Perhaps some people want something with more design chic, but for us this was perfect.

We loved the large, comfortable space. We loved how quiet the apartment was. We loved the location. We loved the laundry facilities. We loved being able to make our own good coffee.

Le Stanze di Federico was a fabulous apartment on a main street in Palermo close to Quattro Canti and the many stores and restaurants on Via Maqueda The major sights were walkable from this location. Gabriele was wonderful meeting us and taking us to the apartment There is a lift in the building which makes it much easier when you have luggage. Gabriele was very kind showing us the apartment which was beautiful! The bedrooms and kitchen were large Very convenient having a washer in the unit. Even though you are on a busy street, being on the fourth floor it was very quiet. Overall loved staying in this apartment and would highly recommend this property.

superb location, comfortably big apartment, helpful host, all the needed stuff were provided: towels, coffee/tea, some basic spices, booklet with the info about the flat and Palermo. there are two big bedrooms, bathroom, and the living room with kitchen. I could not recommend the flat enough! :)

We have been there during Xmas/NYE holidays, so I really can't tell if any issue could arise during summer time, but there's nothing I can think of. The rooms face internal alleys and it's on the topmost floor (with a lift in the building) so even when the main road is busy, sounds are quite distant and not a problem.

Location, host, facilities. Gabriele's bnb is one of those places of which you wouldn't want to write a review for, because it's such a secret gem, you wouldn't want to share with too many! :D Aside from the amazing location and the place itself (ideal for a couple, super-ideal for two friendly couples or family of four), the courtesy and availability of the host literally went the extra mile!

All was perfect for us.

The owner was really friendly and the property was clean and nice. Kitchen had all equipment for meal preparations and some basik spices. The big pros was laundry room with washing machine and even detergent.
