We needed a table. The small bench table was cluttered and could not be used.

The room had the most amazing view of the sea from both windows and also over the town. The owner was very friendly and helpful

Everything was great, but the WiFi was spotty. Do note that there is a flight of stairs to climb to expect to carry bags and luggages up!

Elisabeth was a great host. Sent clear instructions for checking in and out. She even dropped off some treats as I was spending Easter in Manarola. The apartment was well finished, stocked with snacks and drinks. The decorations were nautical themed, which was enjoyable. The room also had a view of the terrace and town. All in all, a super good deal and pleasant stay.

It was quite spotless. If I have to say anything bad it would be nice to have like those cottons and ear cottons at the toilet? The little dry machine at the toilet didn’t work. If I had some extra days - which unfortunately I did not - I would like to have someone to pass by and clean it.

The apartment is cute. It has windows with beautiful view of the sea.

Cleaning of the room was not so good. There was still fluffy dust parts on the floor (think it came from under the bed). The tea kettle had old brown water in it with something dark and bloated floating round. It looked horrifying - like a little dead animal - thankfully it was only an old teabag. Check the kettle for old water next time because that experience the first morning made me feel a little bit sick to my stomach. The build in shower cabin leaked water on the floor, even when we tried to be careful about it. A bit vexing. Staying at the second room (at the top) the noice from the other guests opening doors, walking and talking in the hallway/staircase was heard quite well via the staircase. The sound-proofing between the guests is not that well. Not a problem if they stay in or out for a longer period of time, however on our stay the other guests kept going to their room and out quite a few times in the evening when we tried to sleep.

Very romantic view of the sea, hills and the village from the two windows. Well decorated room, very cute. Good air conditioning. International news channel was appreciated. Nice to have plates, cuttlery and machines to make tea and coffe in the morning/evening. Happy surprise to have milk, snacks and sodas in the refrigerator included in the stay. Good and fun explanation (including pictures) to find the way to the adress. Over all good communication with Le Storie di Manarola. Well cleaned bathroom.

We had some trouble with the shower not draining the first night, the host came and unclogged it but it was a temporary fix and started to slow by the time we were leaving. Also, the outside chairs on the balcony are broken, somewhat stable but a little unnerving.

The view was incredible from both sides of the unit, could see the ocean and the seating area on the small balcony was beautiful. Location was close to train station as well as start of trails to other cities. The host left a lot of snacks and drinks for us and was readily available to communicate.

Not much not to like! The only negative, as others have commented, are the strength of the wifi (although might be because we were in a room further away from the router) which meant it was sometimes hard to get onto the internet.

We had an amazing time at Le Storie di Manarola! It was a great size, really modern and clean and had everything you could need (and more). Elisabetta had provided lots of treats and gifts, including biscuits, drinks and even two souvenir mugs. The room was dual aspect, with beautiful views over the houses in Manarola with a sunset / sunrise vista over the water, as well as views towards the ocean on the other side. We were so happy to have air conditioning too - it’s not very strong but it would have been stifling without it. The room was very close to the train station (10 minutes max) and while there are some stairs, these are just before you reach the property so if you do have wheeled luggage, you’re only wheeling up a hill. It can be a challenge in the sun but - for the view - it’s not far and there are benches you can stop at on the way. Elisabetta’s written and visual instructions on how to reach the property from the train station are excellent and because Manarola is pretty small, you shouldn’t get lost. Elisabetta was a wonderful host and while we didn’t meet, she was really communicative and accommodating. Manarola was also our favourite of the five villages and a great base for hiking.

Perfect views, host, and apartment! Elisabetta was a gracious and generous host, putting thought into all details yo make our stay comfortable. The apartment had views of both sides of Manarola’s coast, and was very clean, updated, and comfortable.

There are a number of stairs to climb before reaching the property so won’t recommend to people with mobility issues or carrying large luggages (unless you’re very fit)

Staff is super friendly and helpful. They answered my questions very quickly and the instruction to find the property is clear and easy to follow. There are lots of snacks, water and coffee stocked in the fridge which is very convenient for. The space is bit tight as we are a family of four however it’ll be plenty of room for 2. The view from the room is excellent. Would definitely recommend to people who want a relaxing stay Manarola. Pictures posted by host is the same as what you get

We loved the gorgeous views from both sides and wonderful balcony. The hostess was so responsive and left us many snacks and cold beverages in the fridge. The place was charming and very clean. We had a great stay and hope to come back!
