There was only 1 negative thing in the hotel. At breakfast there is only 1 waitress for all the guests. We had to wait 30 minutes until she came to us for the order. 1 person can not do this alone when you have full house in the hotel and everybody is having breakfast at the same time.

Located at the coast of La Spezia, our room had a wonderful view of the sea and the Harbour. Everything is spotless clean, the staff is amazing and the dinner in the restaurant was exceptional. Cannot wait to return for a longer stay next time. Tip: the infinity pool overlooking the sea - perfection!

A bit warm in the room, we had problems with the AC. As mentioned narrow road to get there, be careful if you have a big car.

Defo the fact that no public transportation reaches the hotel, you have to get a taxi or use their shuttle service. It's not pricey but a bit inconvenient.

View was insane!!! Waking up with sunrise on the harbor is priceless. Comfort level and cleanliness also quite positive, no complaints. Breakfast was also pretty good with the incredibly gorgeous pool right next to the restaurant.

Unfortunately we had quite a strong smell of sewage in the room, the rooms do look quite dated and well used. The AC is loud and old. The restaurant located at the hotel is expensive and a very small selection the waiter isn’t very friendly and waiting time was over an hour. A car is essential if you wish to stay here and be prepared for a fairly difficult road to get there.

The view, the views are really fantastic and the rooms seem to all have a good view.

Unfortunately, the experience at the reception was not great, we were almost refused on the grounds that we have a small child with us. So this is not a family-friendly place. The restaurant is ok but not very special, the waiter is friendly and professional. I'd rather say that the eating options in the city are much better

The location is superb, the view from above the city, I think the experience of the swimming pool, although we didn't try it. Breakfast was not very impressive, but just ok.

The shuttle service which they said they had was never available. They confirmed before I booked the property that the shuttle to La Spezia can be booked 2 hrs in advance. In reality this never worked. Even with 4-6 hrs notice it was “too spontaneous”. A taxi ride to the train station is between 20 and 25 Euros. I strongly recommend to only book this hotel, if you come by car.

No breakfast or any meal included. Laundry was expensive- we paid 25 euro for a small load. Not a lot of tips or recommendations for the area. Restaurant and local food was okay. Pool was freezing cold!

Biggest disappointment was the bed. The size of bed it not the best for tall people. My husband is 194 cm and it was very uncomfortable for him to sleep in 200 cm bed. Also, the head of the bed is the metal frame which doesn't make laying on the bed that comfortable. And since there is no other couch in the room, except the chair, laying on the bed is the only option when in need of hanging out or resting. The restaurant was unfortunately also a disappointment in terms of sizes of the portion and menu (they didn't have any salads on the menu). I asked for a salad and they brought me a bowl with salad greens only (no other veggies) that costed 14 euro. We ate there the very first night but the other two evenings at restaurants downtown which for the same amount of money offer a better portion of the food and variety. Note, this hotel is pet friendly and that means there are no carpets on the floor in the room. Wish the pool was heated, because when travelling in September with cold nights, you cannot really use the pool.

In general it is a good hotel with an excellent view. Though the drive to the Hotel is a bit windy it is totally worth it. Plus, downtown La Spezia doesn't offer such breathtaking view. Breakfast was fantastic and as mentioned in other reviews since it is only one waitress it can take some time to get your breakfast. Also, the waitress forgot to bring the foods we ordered twice. Overall, I would only stay in the this hotel for the view and quietness and their 5 star breakfast.

Narrow roads and parking for big car and not so experienced in mountains driver. Stylish, but old fashioned room interior.
