Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe room, smell of mould, very old bathroom and bed. It seems there was Not enough staff to serve the number of guests. All staff was superb, but the service wasn’t very good because short of staff. Also food was good but the average. Everything was good and really enjoyed my stay, but for the price and considering it’s a 4 star I had high expectations.

Location fantastic, design and furniture still original look very good, room stays friends even without air conditioning thanks to the thick walls. Beach service team was great! Very helpful and kind.

ItalyYou cannot go at the seaside early in the morning from the hotel. You need to walk quite a bit around the hotel to find the bath which brings you down.
A total relax just at the sea front - with the sea view from the balcony. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

ItalyAt this period, the beginning of June, there were many mosquitoes. I forgot my balcony door opened by dinner time and I got really difficult night. The room was full of zanzare and I almost could not fall a sleep. But I know it was my own fault.
You are really in the beach, which is very well managed by the staff of Le Dune. If you like you can walk a bit and find lovely areas of free beach. I had the sea view - paying 20 euros extra and I do not regret it. Lovely balcony at the sea front. The restaurant is nice, but they make you to eat too much and after you notice it in your wallet :)

SwedenThe hotel needs a big refurbishment, the rooms are like walking in to the 50's. Then, they have these strange rules (as many other italian hotels), you can not bring a bottle of water to the table at breakfast (they will charge you), the pool is closed between 13-14.00 (for no reason) and closes again at 18.00. The beach closes at 19.00.
This hotel has an amazing location with the pool almost on the beach.

United StatesThe reception was singularly bad. We have been to many Italian hotels and have never been treated as poorly as we were at Hotel Le Dune. Also, we were unable to drive in the dark to an outside restaurant on two evenings and when we tried to reserve a table they said they had room only at 9:00. Understandable. But when we ordered we waited until 10:00 for our food and when it came it was the wrong order. At breakfast we ordered a simply double espresso which never came. We will certainly not be going back.
The mare was gorgeous, the beach well kept, the pool pristine. The hotel itself has seen better days, there was always trash in our hallway, rugs not vacuumed, floors not cleaned
