Our host rushed us through check-in, giving details about the room before I even got to hear him. We never saw him again.

The location was good, right in the beginning of via Colombo. The view from our window onto the town was fabulous.

The decor is nothing fancy and the small room fridge didn’t seem to work.

It was up the hill a little from the bustle of the town and the marina. We booked only the day before because of a mess up with a booking made months ago but we had no problem here. Check-in was easy, communication was good and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours after check-out.

I read many review about the bad smell and we did NOT experience that maybe because of the summer season. It is true the bedroom did not have a window/view but it did not matter to us for a one night stay.

Bed, coffe from the machine in the morning, the position. We used it only for one night after walking the Alta Via. For us it did the job really well.

The room felt humid.

Super kind check-inn, who let us drop off our luggage before check-inn. The room was big and had a little terrasse out to the street. Good location central to the trainstation and sea on the mail street, but not in the crowded area.

No place to store baggage when we needed to switch hotels. The credit card did not work onsite and had to pay cash. My credit card did not have any issues elsewhere.

Slightly odd arrangement for reaching the room (walk around the back, up stairs) but once explained it was fine and part of the village character.

The check-in hours were pretty limited.

The staff was really nice and the location was great, along the main road but a little further than the restaurant/touristy part. It also had a coffee machine which we could use for free in the morning.

- the breakfast included was very simple and not very nice (it was just a machine coffee and brioche croissant from a packet) - the coffee machine was also only on at a certain time so you could only have your breakfast during that time for example we had a train at 7am so wanted coffee at 630am but we’re not allowed. - the rooms was very damp.

- Was higher up then the main town so it was nice and quiet. - the bedroom with a bathroom was very spacious which is good - the air con worked very well and the fridge was a plus

Wish could be a bit sound proof. But does not really bother us. People are polite and not really make much noise during quite time

Location is perfect, even though there is hill to walk up. The room is cosy and clean. Nice decorations in lobby. There is laundry cleaning a few minutes Downhill, help a lot during two weeks of travelling. Host is very nice. We enjoyed the stay

The air conditionner was a bit far and it was really cold at night even if I turn on the heat.

The balcony was a good surprise (I didn't check well before booking, that's why). I also liked because they gave me towels although it was written as an option on Booking.

The location was perfect. The room was very clean and it has air conditioning for the hot summer days.

The hotel is made by a few rooms - we were in the last one across the hall that, despite being spacious and clean, had a window overlooking a wall with almost no light coming in. There was also a lot of humidity in the room - we stayed for two night and checked out with our full baggage feeling wet and cricked neck.

The structure is located just in the centre of Riomaggiore, close to the railing stations, restaurants and main facilities.
