The air conditioning didn't work. There was no face to face contact with any staff members, all communication was through email.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location - lots of restaurants and tourist attractions are nearby and are within walking distance.

There was air conditioning in only one of our two bedrooms. Impossible to sleep with windows open as street noise is unbearable all night long. You must pick up the key from a lock box and then walk around the corner to unit. This was okay on check in, but was challenge to return at 4:30 am when rushing to airport for flight. (Impossible to get a cab at this time, we lucked out and were able to jump in with others from another hotel) Would have been much more convenient to be able to leave key in room as I have done at all other places I've stayed.

Location was very central within walking distance to train station, main market, restaurants and attractions. Apartment was clean and comfortable.

There’s not really a welcome from the receptionist. When you arrive you’re just given a key but they don’t offer a map or any extra information.

A unfortunate moldy smell in the water system within the washing machine left clothes smelling slightly the same. Though clean this was off putting - though it faded after a few days

Location, spaciousness and careful attention to the aesthetic choices on mural, paint color and tile. Keys worked the first time, the washing machine also was uncomplicated. The master bedroom was very comfortable, towels and sheets all soft and brightly white. The acs worked just right. Property was on first floor so only a 1-story walkup with heavy suitcase was a big plus. Though on Via Nationale when the windows were closed there’s literally no noise to be heard. Close to every thing. EVERYTHING!!! Including the Congressi conf center and the train station. I LOVED IT ALL! This was just a great stay. My second time with Locanda dei Poeti and the hosts were prompt and professional keeping me informed all the way.

My room had a musty smell and you could hear between rooms.

A great stopover room if you need to do an overnight in Florence. It was private, the air con was great and it’s simple. There were no staff, but the entry information was clear and easy

We knew there was not elevator but it makes you a bit tired specially you have a big suitcase. There was no mosquito nets on any windows which we think it is crutial because when we came room, the windows left as open and we identified more than 15 mosquitos in our room during our stay. Due to high ceiling it was not easy to kill them. So don’t forget to bring some medicine or kind of fly spray for your trip

Very friendly owner! We booked the wromg datea because of our own fault and we had to leave early, even though we passed our check put time, they were very understanding of our situation and helped us a şot by giving us a place to put our luggage until we found a new place

The apartment was located on a busy street. It was hard to sleep with the windows open.

The location was great, close to city center, museums, restaurants and historical places. (15-20 Minutes walking distance) The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was perfect. There was a market just under the apartment. The host was kind and helpful.

A lot. Ridiculous key entry. Passwords and then finding keys, to open my door. Had to use a key, to turn on the electricity. Hit my head on the bathroom window. Reception, mostly non-existent. Cold room.

The comforter was a bit older but clean. The shutters made the room a bit dark.

Loved the cozy bed and breakfast! Close to a lot of attractions. An 8 minute walk from the train station. We utilized the coffee, tea, snacks and fridge. We even heated up leftovers on the stovetop. Our room was spacious and comfortable. I had a double bed, and my son used a single. Our shower was a good size for Europe with great hot water. It was also helpful to have use of a second bathroom. We used the laundry down the road that they recommended. They also helped us translate medication Instructions from Italian. It was a lovely place to stay in Florence.

Firenze is not a cheap city, but by the price you pay, I was expecting slightly newer furniture and that the bed was a little more comfortable.

The location was really good in walking distance to all the sightseeing spots but also public transportation you could use to both leave and arrive in the city. The room had everything you needed and the shower was pretty awesome.

There was a complicated key system and you had to keep a small key on the bunch of keys in a socket for the electric to work. Our room was much older in style than those on the photos, we liked it, but it wasn’t what we were expecting from the photos!

The property was very clean and in a good location, staff were helpful and printed out some tickets for us.

There is no minibar in the room while it’s really necessary in the summer. The instructions to Access the building and the room were sent by the host but I felt like I was into an escape room. I had a long trip to get to Florence, so I was really tired, it was easier if someone from the stuff was there. I’d enjoy it if I wasn’t tired.

The room was really clean and the situation was near to the Santa Maria station and the city center, the neighborhood is safe and there are a couple of good restaurants and bars just around.
