Everything was perfect.

Cozy atmosphere, very artistic and welcoming environment, award winning local wine, breathtaking scenery. 15 minutes walk to San Gimignano. Our room had balcony which enhanced our extremely amazing experience . Very tasty breakfast with good selection. Extremely good cakes. Coffee at breakfast served with traditional italian moka. Friendly and helpful owners. They adviced on places to see. Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely come back again. Massive thanks to Mr. Viani and Paola.

We had a wonderful stay at this location run by a very special family who will make you feel at home away from home. My husband and I traveled with my 70 year old parents and our 2 small children and the accommodation was perfect for us. We traveled by car and drove to San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, and Florence as well as a trip to the Antinori nel Chianti Classico winery. The location was extremely quiet and comfortable with a large, delicious breakfast. Absolutely wonderful stay!

Rustic and cozy. Fantastic location with wonderful views of San Gimignano. Breakfast was good and the owners were especially helpful with my lactose intolerance.

Breakfast could be a little better and the ability to control the speed of the aircon in each room would be nice.

The location with its views were spectacular, the atmosphere and setup of the building was wonderful. Not crowded was really nice and getting to know the owners was really special.

Locanda Viani is located in an excellent position, you can reach San Gimignano on foot in approximately 15 minutes whilst also enjoying the quiet of the countryside and the view is really breathtaking. The B&B is clean and comfortable and, whilst being a historical building, everything is new and functional. At breakfast, you can enjoy local products and fresh bread. Roberto and his wife are incredibly kind and attentive hosts. During our staying, the AC broke and they immediately arranged our staying at another lovely accomodation, so that our holiday wouldn't be disrupted by the excessive heat. Despite the AC problem, our holiday has been great and I definitely recommend Locanda Viani for your staying.

The Viani Family are the warmest of hosts. They make you feel so welcome and are on hand if you need anything. The rooms are beautiful with gorgeous artwork from Roberto Viani. He is so modest that we did not know he had painted them. Mrs Viani makes the most wonderful breakfasts and cakes. We loved our time there. Thank you all so much x

There are lots of up and down stairs which is expected in beautiful century old buildings.

The location was terrific with a short walk into the walled town of San Gimignano. Having a car park close and easy drives getting around the region visiting other beautiful Tuscan towns was great. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We liked the Tuscan breakfasts and enjoyed the evenings on our balcony overlooking San Gimignano and the countryside.

I have been to Tuscany many times and I dare to say that Roberto Viani and his charming family are one of the best hosts in Tuscany. They are kind and helpful, Paola prepares a delicious breakfast. The only reason I don't write more good things is because next time we won't get accommodation because of the crowd :) Values, tradition, Art and good wine.

No disappointments at all.

Everything. Absolutely everything. Location was just perfect with an unbelievable view over San Gimignano directly from our room’s terrace. Seriously, this can not be overstated, the view was truly remarkable. Room was classically furnished, had an additional gallery bed and a lot of beautiful oil paintings (you can basically find them all around the property, each one of them a unique piece) that were painted by the host himself. The host was extremely knowledgable and recommanded us all the best attractions to see around the Tuscany most of which were at most 1 hour drive from the location. However, the best one is of course San Gimignano which is only about 12 minutes away from the location by foot. Have I mentioned their homemade breakfasts are just the best? Seriously, I guarantee you that you’ll be looking forward to each and every morning of your stay here. You absolutely will not regret booking This place.

Amazing place to stay, the family owning the place is absolutely lovely. The bedroom is very charming and one of the cleanest place we stayed, we highly recommend it. The location is central, perfect to visit Toscane and all the cities around. Thank you for everything!
