Hotel very tired and overdue a refurb

The room was a little dark. We did not opt for the breakfast but it is in the other building.

The location was great and the room was spacious. The hotel actually has several properties we stayed about a block away from the main hotel which was fine.

The FOUR flights of stairs with a suitcase! I knew there was no lift and I would need to be able to carry my bags up some stairs. However, the number of stairs, steepness and width were an issue with suitcases and we were put on the top floor! There was no offer to help with bags. The bathroom door did not shut, the fridge did not work and the shower was challenging to access (climb over the bidet!) Breakfast was very limited and the same every day.

Location is excellent; right round the corner form St. Mark's Square. Breakfast was provided, but extremely limited (a croissant and drink)

The room was not on the hotel building and the room was really hot and they don’t let you turn in the air conditioner

Room was nice but when i got there they change me to another building and we have to walk, no one help you with the bags and they didn’t let me turn in the air conditioning.

It's too small room so it's difficult to move in it. It's not comfortable for a couple. There are many stairs. That's why it's not good for older guests!!

It's great position near the Saint Marko square!! It's very quiet place!

-Check-in process, recieptionis (the elder man). The young one and the lady were super kind. -bathroom (shower)

The only good thing for this hotel is the location, near San Marco square. Don't expect nothing, one of the receptionists is kinda impolite, the cleanliness is let's say not what i would have expected, the shower is very old and after all, definitely is not worth the money.

When I arrived to the hotel at the agreed time, I waited 10 minutes while one of the staff gave instructions for the next day to other employee. I lifted all my families' luggage to the first floor and waited there until they told me our room was in other building and I had to carried them to the street and uploaded them again 2 floors again in the other building. Same for checking-out, no elevator or help. The breakfast was really poor, just a croissant and some coffee. Also there are no mosquito nets on the windows and they were mosquitos, would not like to stay there on summer.

Hotel was really clean and beautiful decorated. Most of the staff was super cordial and attentive. The location is excellent, really convenient. The price for the services provided is great. Internet worked perfectly during my stay -not always the case in other hotels- and I needed to work so it was an important aspect.

The room was not the one I had booked, it was even located in a different place from the hotel. The room was small, it had an unpleasant smell. We didn't have a refrigerator in the room, not even slippers when you used the bathroom. I had booked a double bed but they had put 2 single beds together. Only the position was worth it, nothing else! I do not recommend it!!

**Hotel Lux informed me that check in would be in a different location - Hotel Antico Panada. This is where I stayed in the end, not Hotel Lux. The balcony doors could be repaired a little to help facilitate easier opening/closing and keep out the cold.

I liked that after check in I didn't have to go another building. Cosy small room with private bathroom. Great location. There is a lift in Hotel Antico Panada.

My room was away from the hotel in some building, having to walk down 2 streets to get breakfast Breakfast was very limited to coffee and croissants The room was a little dated. The local tax was to be paid cash only, and service desk was pretty difficult about it as I don't normally carry cash.

No lift so if handicap or need to haul luggage be aware. We were in a room connected to the reception so we didn’t have the issue of going to another building but I will say our room needs some TLC. Could use some upgrades and replacements. Shower gets water everywhere. Again not horrible but some upgrades would make it worth the price more
