Everything! There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Perfect spot, the best hosts, nice room with a great bed, a fantastic view and very good food and drinks (almost everything made by the hosts). We’ll definitely come back!

This was our favourite place while on a trip in Sicily. The pool was amazing and the views never ending. The place was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of local produce to sample. We found Madre to be very relaxing and accommodating. The whole place had a very chilled vibe and we will certainly look forward to staying again.

I have stayed at 100s of hotels, B&Bs and apartments but this might be the best stay I have ever experienced. The view, the natural pool, the self grown / made food & soap, the tranquility, the option for spa & massages and the hospitality of the hosts made this a very memorable stay. I would everyone that needs some relaxation 100% recommend to say at least stay one night, if not longer.

Everything was perfect: Eliza’s welcoming, the whole property is super clean, spacious and modern furnished. The view is beautiful, the breakfast is super, the infinity pool amazing and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

Nothing! Everything was very good!

We liked everything, the view is amazing! The hosts are extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is very good and includes a lot of selfmade fresh products. Everything is super clean and we received an room upgrade for free! We recommend to try their typical platter or pasta and to make use of the massage & spa. We had such amazing days in Madre. For us this is the ideal place to stay if you want a relaxing holiday with a beautiful view and amazing helpful staff.

Only small thing: I don't think they should charge 2.50 euros for using a pool towel - it is such a small charge that I think it should be included in the price - afterall there is a pool on the property.

what a gorgeous property, amazing views, well-decorated rooms, and THE BEST breakfast. Everything is fresh from their farm. They sell many goodies you can buy, and I appreciate you can order glasses of wine, cocktails etc for when you are lounging by the beautiful pool. I would love to come back here. Epic place! The owners are very nice and share a lot of great recommendations!

This was our favourite stay in Sicily. The place is wonderful and the hosts, Marta and Filippo, were amazing. They run this place with love and care and they are really kind and helpful. They will do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You don’t even need to leave the place, as they offer delicious breakfast and lunch and you can order great cocktails or coffee by the pool. I would also recommend to try Filippo’s pasta with tomato, mozzarella and basil, it’s the best I’ve ever had! The room where we stayed was clean and big and we had a balcony with great view. The pool is filled with salty water and it has very peaceful and serene surrounding.

Fantastic place to stay - Such a great couple hosting us. A 10/10 breakfast was served with local specialties and I would definitely come back and recommend the place. As a bonus, the pool was nicer than the average pool with a great view as well.

Everything was perfect! Two small tips: -perhaps provide a mosquito window, so the door can be open a bit. - Maybe make the spa a bit cheaper, then people would take to it a bit quicker.

Wonderful B&B in exceptionally beautiful location! Everything was really perfect, from the first welcome to the farewell. The room was very spacious and very clean! We were shown around extensively. The breakfast is phenomenally good with a huge amount of fresh and local products. The jams homemade, homemade pesto, chocolate from Modica, Yoghurt from nearby. Nothing was too much to ask of the hosts, they are always present without being disruptive and always ready for questions and suggestions about the neighbourhood. We will definitely come back if we ever come to Sicily again! Possibly best hotel/B&B we ever stayed in!

Enjoying our last evening at Madre in Ragusa. Although we are not the kind of family that extensively elaborates on journeys we have made, we surely like to take the time to comment on our stay at Madre. Having spent the week here with 2 people suffering from Celiac disease , we would like to thank the hosts (Marta & Filippo) for taking such good care of us. Gluten-free bread, fresh gluten-free pancakes, magnificent selfmade gluten-free cake at breakfast … all prepared with care and celiac awareness. It’s been a real joy to stay here while having nothing to worry about! Aside from the truly wonderful and very well maintained facility and the magnificent location, the hosts were always available for a talk and some good tips on what to visit. This place definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

There is nothing Marta and Filippo could have done to improve their place. It was perfect in all ways. Honestly you can't go wrong staying here! You won't be disappointed. It really is fabulous!

This is an agritourism place. Filippo and Marta, the owners, were so wonderful and helpful. Such an interesting place with modern facilities and beautiful landscaping. The breakfast is all homemade even the jams which they made from the fruit trees on their property! Filippo was so kind in discussing our itinerary for the few days giving us very helpful tips on visiting Ragusa, Modica and Scicli - small villages close to their place. I highly recommend staying here. They have such a beautiful place from our room and bathroom to the patio (enclosed when bad weather) where we ate breakfast. Oh and delicious cappuccino as well! Yes we had two each morning:)
