Food was a big let down for us, lots of buffet options at breakfast but it was the same every day with only a small selection of hot food. It was fine, we wall had a little something to start the day but nothing to get excited about. We chose to dine in one evening and wished we hadn’t, it was buffet style again and I feel like it was overbooked so getting food for the kids first was mayhem.. we were literally being pushed out of the way in the queues, the food quality wasn’t amazing, we settled with simple pasta dishes and the kids enjoyed dessert before we retreated to our room. We ate for the same price at the next night at the grill (3courses with wine) and it was delicious.

Perfect for family of all ages.. small journey to the centre and silent at night. Lots of pool options and outdoor activities. the kids club was amazing for our one and 7 year old, we had to drag them away. Beautiful room (we had a junior garden suite) and everything was so clean. Housekeeping made swans every day for the kids beds which they loved.

Barely any internet connectivity in our room. The staff told us we should have said something sooner (we told them on our last day) as they could have added a repeater to increase the signal. So again really helpfull in trying to resolve the issue.

Food was great, room was nice and cool, staff where super kind and helpfull and everything was as advertised or better (except for the internet)

Getting out of the pool to go home.

What a brilliant option for young families. So much on for kids, yet if you want adult time, there is plenty on too. Lots of options for chilling, swimming or entertainment. Brilliant buffet and kids under 3 eat free. Sensational. Staff always had a smile on their face, no matter when you bumped into them. Also, some great restaurants local to hotel, that you do not need to walk back into town for. Give them a go.

The air con was next to non existent. Very old fashioned unit under that window that blows hot air and does not cool air.

I did not like the part of the hotel I was staying in, In comparison to the part my son and daughters stayed in . for the same rate.

the hotel is great for children, and Adults alike . I would not recommend adults staying if they do not like children or dogs! the hotel is spacious, hard working staff. really clean, great food and the staff are amazing.

The only disappointing thing that we experienced, which is quite petty on our behalf, if I do say so myself. It was the day of the wedding and everyone had been out all day, we returned to the hotel (at approximately midnight) hoping to all get one last round of drinks before bed, but the bar staff were adamant that they had called last orders and were shutting the bar, so not everyone was able to get a drink. It would have been nice to get one last drink to finish the night off with the whole wedding party, but oh well that's the British for you.

The views from the hotel are fantastic, and it's such a great place to stay if you have kids as there's quite a bit to do.

Music in some of the common areas was a little loud. The shuttle bus service is only available in the morning and as the hotel is approximately 1.6km from the town it would be nice if the service was available into the evening/night.

Very good facilities room, pools, common areas etc. Staff were extremely professional and helpful. Food was good. Lovely views from the property and plenty of different areas with umbrellas and sun loungers.

*It was not clear enough via booking.com that the "deluxe" room with garden view (for which I paid extra) will be on the ground floor and beside path to the swimming pool. I didn't enjoy my evenings sitting outside in my "balcony" with plenty of passing by people. In addition, big part of my view from this balcony was a hedge situated 2m away. *Few nights in a raw we were woken up by a mouse or rat scratching our walls - it was reported and acknowledged by the reception but I'm not sure if they were able to do anything about it as the last night mouse scratching came back... * In our wardrobe one of the sliding doors was broken and I had to use some force to move it back and forth * There was no iron nor ironing board * There was no electric kettle nor coffee or tea in the room - which you would expect from a 4* hotel * Hotel wi-fi was not optimized for so many people using it and performance was poor during peak times. Had to switch to 4G

There is an underground parking possibility for 5 EUR per night - but no one informed us about this until we asked for it - definetly a better and more safe solution than the free outside parking next to the hotel and with charging possibilities for EVs as well. We had booked a family room for 4 persons but there were only linen and towels for 3 persons - called the receptionist for more - but these things could only be supplied the day after - quite strange for a hotel this size.

We chose the dinner package that is quite valuable.

Distance from centre of Malcesine

lovely comfy beds, good bathrooms. Breakfast was fab, the pool was a welcome break though nothing like the pictures. Staff were completely wonderful and very helpful. Only slight negative I can give is the distance for centre of Malcesine. 20mins walk uphill was not for us, but fine if you’re active people!

It's a steep walk from the lakeside to the hotel, but there is little they can do about that!
