The best location to visit all the city attractions, restaurants and shops and yet incredibly quiet. The hosts - Manuel and Ricardo - who were on hand to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The apartment is very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need!

The location was great - right in the city centre but quiet enough to sleep at night. The allocated parking space was really convenient as parking outside is quite a feat plus it was super helpful with a toddler. The fact that the apartment was ground floor meant we did not have to struggle much with our luggage. The kitchen included everything needed for breakfast already but Manuele got us fresh pistacchio croissant to die for every morning from a local cafetteria. Wine, beer and aperitivo was also complimentary and you could easily sit in the porch in the evening to have a sip. The apartment was super clean and had quite a spacious bathroom compared to what's custom of B&B's in Catania city centre. Manuele provided us with recommendations of restaurants, gelaterias and places to visit and we definitely were not disappointed! We will be returning for sure!

There was nothing. All was perfect.

We did not expect breakfast but the hosts bought fresh croissants for us each morning, they provided fresh fruit. The property provided drinks butter jam. They could not do enough for us.

Location was very central, close to the Cathedral and lots of eateries. The hosts provided lots of kitchen basics and delivered delicious fresh croissants every morning for breakfast. Manuele and Ricardo were very kind and polite hosts and extremely responsive in communicating. Bed very comfortable.

We loved everything about our 4 night stay! It was so nice to be picked up a the airport rather than having to try to navigate our way to the apartment. The hosts were so kind and made great suggestions. The location is perfect and within walking distance to the center of town, bus stop, many churches, restaurants, and the fish market. The fresh cornetti each morning were delicious too!

Location is excellent. We could securely park our car in the property’s private compound and walk to all Catania’s major attractions and shopping which are just minutes away. The host was warm and caring. He gave us great recommendations on eateries and interesting places to visit. The apartment is very clean and well-furnished. The host is thoughtful in providing all that you would need. Bed is comfy too and the shower very good. The kitchen is fully equipped and the host even gave us a new set of knives for our cooking. We enjoyed very much the lovely bottle of wine and fresh pistachio croissants for breakfast every morning by compliments of the host. The host and his family were so nice to us. Staying at this property was just super and like home to us. Thank you so much, Manuele and Riccardo, our wonderful hosts!!

Hosts are very nice. Pick up us at the train station and send us to the airport. Provide many useful information about the attractions, restaurants, supermarkets… snacks and cafes are very good, even give us a bottle of Sicily rede wine. The property location is excellent.

Not a single thing!

Our hosts, Giuseppe (Father) Manuele (Son) and Ricardo (Son) were so very welcoming. We were met upon arrival at Catania airport and personally driven to Mamarico Apartamente by Giuseppe and Manuele. They provided many good recommendations for us as first time visitors to Sicily. Manuele offered to stay in communication with us via "whatsapp" throughout out stay, to answer any questions or address any concerns we may have. This was very helpful. Our apartamente was exceptionally clean, accommodating and comfortable. The location was perfect for us, as we explored the various historical districts on foot each day. Only a side street away from Piazza de Duomo! Breakfast arrived to a basket outside our door each morning, fresh Pistachio Croissants (we were asked for our flavor preference) that paired deliciously with the Espresso. Beverages (a nice bottle of Wine, local Beer, Sodas, Juice & Water) along with Yogurt, Breads, Fruit spreads and Butter were stocked in our kitchenette much to our enjoyment. In the bathroom, there were toiletries provided as well for our convenience. The shower had multiple options. Rain head, side spray or hand held all with strong water pressure and choice of hot & steamy to cold & refreshing temperatures. There was also a washing machine with detergent pods available, which we found useful. The AC was so efficient, we actually turned it off at night as the rooms cooled down and we opened our windows and balcony doors. Safety was not an issue, our entry door was within a gated courtyard, we had keys to both doors. Upon checkout, Ricardo personally drove us to the rental car agency at the airport so we could secure our car for the remainder of our trip through Sicily. I highly recommend a stay at Mamarico Apartamente!

Instructions for the meeting point at the airport could have been clearer. It was actually outside terminal 3 ( not room 3), This is a very short walk from the terminal where we arrived.

The location is excellent - very close to the 2 main squares and lots of eating places. Despite that, the apartment is very quiet due to its inner courtyard location. The airport transfer was very useful, and a real bonus. We were also given a lift to the rail station for our onward journey. Our hosts were great and easy to contact. This is a really good choice of accommodation if you want to explore this very interesting city. Highly recommended!

Loved everything!

This property had everything! The hosts were amazing to deal with. The fridge was stocked with supplies for our stay. We were given house slippers, toiletries, even supplied a baby seat for the toilet. We were delivered fresh pastries every morning. The location was close walking distance and was very safe! Honestly this accommodation was the best thing about Catania.
