It didn’t have a dishwasher or washing machine….but it didn’t say it did so we knew that. A dish drying rack would have been useful.

The apartment was clean, modern, had a very good kitchen with a range of useful kitchenware, large fridge, large lounge area and a good shower, with good pressure and consistent hot water. It had a lift. It also had a separate and comfortable bedroom. It was very centrally located so we could walk to a lot of the main attractions. The host, Mimmo was pleasant and very helpful.

The towels offered are scratchy - but really not a big deal.

The apartment is spacious, clean with a lot of natural light, right in the heart of the action. The windows are well insonorized keeping all noise at bay. There is a little kitchen and two balconies. The one off the living room is especially pleasant to sit on as you have a great view at the happenings on the street. Even though, you are surrounded by buildings, they are far enough that you don't feel hemmed in. One of them had a beautiful terrace with plants, flowers and wrought iron furniture that was very nice to look at. Mimmo, the owner is very responsive by WhatsApp.

Everything was perfect- spaciousness and neatness of apartment, location, the lift was a big plus for us.The apartment is very centrally located - on a street with many restaurants and shops but the apartment faces to the back street so no noise. Beautiful old building with all the mod cons in the apartment. Mimmo was a very attentive host - very helpfull with any questions or requests we had. We were treated with lots of extras like coffee pods, tea, milk, butter,toast breads and biscuits. He also ordered a taxi for us to take us to the car rental offices.

The apartment was beautiful. A stunning place to stay. It was very well equipped with everything you could need. The host Mimmo was extremely helpful, providing us with local recommendations. He also came and met us to show us where to park the car. The location was superb, right in the heart of the main area for shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this apartment!

While this wasn't a problem for us, the noise from the busy main street below which is teeming with people/revelers can be a disturbance, especially on the weekend. For light-sleepers, this is easily solved with earplugs. :)

We were met at the apartment by Mimmo and Silvana who were just lovely and so, so kind. Moreover, Mimmo was available throughout our stay via cell phone to answer any questions. His responsiveness and communication, even before our arrival was fantastic. The apartment itself was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. It had everything you would want or need for a short stay in Palermo. The location puts you smack dab in the heart of the historic center.

This was a fabulous oasis in the centre of Palermo. Very modern, light and airy but also double glazed so quiet at night time despite being on a very busy and colourful street. The apartment is well equipped for a weeks stay and the owner was very helpful with information and allowing us to use a washing machine. A lovely space for two and a very comfortable bed.

Very large airy apartment in the middle of the action in Palermo! We walked everywhere. The owner Mimmo met and welcomed us. We really enjoyed our 3 nights and took advantage this break in the middle of our vacation to rest and do our laundry. Cute well appointed kitchen. Step outside, and you are on the best street of Palermo with many good restaurants. Mimmo pointed us to a safe indoor parking nearby that was perfect for us since the apartment is in the pedestrian zone. Highly recommended!

The street on which it is located is very crowded and quite dirty - not related directly to the quality of the apartment.

Very friendly host, the apartment is spacious and very well equipped, extremely clean and well maintained. Although the apartment is in the city centre and there is much noise outside, it is quiet inside. Very close to attractions (palace, theatre) restaurants and stores, the host provides many useful recommendations.

Liked · We were in Sicily for 17 days .We stayed in similar accommodation with similar prices ,Maqueda 331 was by far the best. It looks like the pictures . Spacious airy rooms, spotlessly clean . Good king size bed ,nice linen ,extra pillow & bed cover..Lounge with a comfortable sofa ,big screen TV ,excellent wifi. Kitchen was well equipped ,lots of little extras ,coffee machine, micro, bits & bobs to eat crackers ,cake,butter & jam . Bathroom was a fair size [ with bidet ] ,shower ,good water pressure, some toiletries , nice towels .This place is all brand new & stylishly decorated ,bright & sunny, in an old palazzo ,it has a lift.The main entrance is on Maqueta Street ,a busy pedestrian street ,but the apartment is on the back corner of the building ,so it faces two quieter streets . Position , on a pedestrian street ,lots of cafes ,restaurants, 4 minute [ 300m] walk to Massimo Theatre Piazza .We were dropped here by a share taxi from the airport ,E8 each. We walked everywhere ,it was very central.Easy to get back to for a late afternoon rest before heading out again.Palermo is an easy city to navigate.Stunning architecture & genuinely friendly locals. Super friendly owner ,had no problem letting us in a midnight when we arrived , he gave us info. on where to eat ect. Highly recommended .

Best location, in the very center of the city! The owner is very kind and helpful. He introduced me a parking lot, which was just in front of the apartment. You can park safely there.
