The location is central and the apartment quite spacious.

The electric wiring needs to be updated, there is a musty smell, and we continually had to deal with different people regarding getting keys and making payments. The pillows on the window seat outside are worn out. But what really struck me was that the staff repeatedly asked us to give favorable reviews, saying we want a nine or a ten.

The view is amazing and the property Is unique. The beaches of Tropea are great.

Air conditioning could use an upgrade. We stayed end of Sept so nights were getting a bit cooler, but even then it stayed pretty warm in there even with the AC running at night. Slept good one night, not so good the other 2 nights because it was a bit warm.

Location and view, the uniqueness of the property, size and space, security of the property, and communication and friendliness of the host were all top notch!

These are very minor issues, and they are meant only to be constructive and helpful. There could have been a couple of extra pillows for the beds The air conditioning was extremely good, but on the second floor - because it is a loft - it was a bit warmer than downstairs - so a fan would have been a good help in the for summer. The children would have liked wifi. I would definitely return.

We stayed 1 week with my wife and 2 children. The location and views were amazing. Very unique and chic space. 10 minute walk to beach. Staff responsive to the questions and minor issues. Their boat trip offering was great and good value, with an excellent captain. Unbelievable sunsets from the outdoor seating area. I liked that there was no wifi.

A little miss communication . Think I was dealing with more than one person . In the end tho all went well . . It could of been cleaner . But I have to say I would still book this again no question . No WIFI. It was clearly disclosed that there was no WIFI, but in this day and age, having WIFI is like having a bathroom.

The location is amazing right in the middle of the historical district with amazing views of the sea, Sanctuary, and Stromboli. You can hear the waves rolling up on the beach at night. You walk out your front door and are literally a few steps to the many wonderful restaurants and shops of Tropea! Perfect location to launch a "pizza-slaying" pizzeria crawl.

Laundry machine was listed, no operation directions. Bedding was minimal, really needed a comforter for each bed. would be nice to provide a single roll of paper towels for kitchen and maybe a liter of water in fridge until a trip to the sore could be made. A list of local stores to purchase paper goods or toiletries would be convenient for those not familiar with the area. A second set of keys would also have been nice since we were traveling with a second couple.

The views were spectacular. Breathtaking! Location was amazing, close to everything and no need for a vehicle. Plenty of dining near by. The fact that you are staying on a cliff and in very old antiqued almost caves, gives this place charm beyond expectation. Loved the two private lofts with separate bathrooms and the fact that there was also a bathroom downstairs.

Cleanliness was average, grit on floors. Air conditioner didn’t work well and no wifi, for what you pay I would have expected better. Handover of keys was adequate but not informative. Maybe an instruction manual would be preferred.

The property has green mould due to nature of the stone building (it was a cellar hundred years ago) and you can smell it when the property has been closed off for a while Unfortunately, it is really difficult to air the property as the windows are only facing 1 way (west) The biggest issue was that the aircon did not work and despite letting Simone know, he did not fix it nor did he come to have a look at it. He just replied that he checked it on his phone and according to his app it was working (very disappointing!) Maybe we were using it wrong, don't know. It would have certainly been helpful to have Simone check out the problem in person. Since the AC didn't work we had to keep the windows open and got lots of mosquitos and weekend disco and party noises during evenings/ night time. Otherwise, as mentioned before, the property has a great location, beautiful view and unique layout. If they fix the AC or if you're not traveling mid summer I'd still recommend the place.
