This was a great apartment to stay in before we flew back to the US. Marilena arranged for a shuttle to pick us up when we arrived from Palermo, and bring us to the airport early the next morning. Everything about our short stay was fabulous, and Marilena was a wonderful host who was extremely prompt in answering our questions. The terrace was perfect for relaxing and the snacks and beer were great to have. The apartment was very well equipped and modern. Thank you so much!!!

We struggled to get a taxi/uber to take us the short distance from the airport. I would recommend you prebook to go to and from the airport.

A lovely, small apartment with everything you need. Only 15 min from the airport and a 1 min walk to the beach. The complimentary drinks and snacks are a thoughtful touch.

Great option to spend the night before early flight. 10 mins drive from the airport, the owner is always online and organised perfect round trip transfer from the airport. Apartment is big, clean, stylish, well equipped.

Our host Marilena was extremely welcoming and so helpful in organising transport shuttle from/to the airport. The apartment was very quiet even though it is 10 minutes from the airport. The location is fantastic, close to the airport and close to Fiumicino Beach. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other travellers.

Everything! Very easy check to check in and reach the accommodation . We used the shuttle, it was all organized for us. The accommodation was very comfortable, there was everything and anything you might need. Also many little treats you wouldn’t need but made it extra special. Huge outdoor terrace. A very short, peaceful walk to a wonderful beach to watch the sunset. Superb recommendation for a wonderful meal ( i cinque scalini) 5 minutes from the apartment. The attention, service and kindness from the host Marilena. She made the last part of our time in Italy stress free and so sweet.

The communication with Marilena is geared up to the WhatsApp platform so have that on your phone before you go. I didn't. Had trouble with the wi-fi password, as the handwritten instruction shows a 2 word code all in upper-case, whereas it is really caps to start each word then lower case. A simple matter to clear up.

As I only arrived mid-afternoon and left very early for a early flight the next morning. I could not fully enjoy the apartment. The host, Marilena, was always available by phone and SMS, and made it easy for me to get there with the reliable shuttle service. The apartment is large, almost new, with a wrap-around balcony, with I think a BBQ under wraps. Nearby is a great Burger bar, and for the evening a large Italian restaurant with an interesting menu! The area around comprises a small settlement with a mix of housing styles. It is dead quiet at night (a rarity anywhere in Italy) and a welcome respite from the bussle of Roma. There is a beach around the corner, but not very inviting, with black/grey sand and pebbly at low tide. (Being from Australia I take for granted miles and miles of white sandy beaches!) For a relaxing few days downtime to unwind and not do much, this apartment would be ideal.

I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like about it.

The host, Marlena was super helpful to us throughout our visit, even though we never got to meet her in person. She was responsive and organized a pick up at the airport so we could get to the apartment easily. We enjoyed had a nice dinner on her patio deck. The first night we were there, which was nice because we were too tired to go out to eat… We just picked up something close by. A good place to rest before or after a long, long day of travel.

Marilena was absolutely wonderful! She welcomed us into her home before we flew out of Rome the next morning. She made us feel right at home; she showed us around herself to get us acquainted with the space and gave us recommendations for restaurants nearby, showed us exactly how the locks worked (which is a very secure system), and even made us a coffee upon arrival. She even arranged a shuttle for us both to her home and to the airport. There were snacks to welcome us and a light breakfast before we left the next morning. Her home is extremely clean and inviting and of note, smells very nice! The bed was comfortable with many pillows, great air conditioner—we had all we need. Location could also not be more convenient—10 min shuttle ride from her home to the airport terminal, and a very short walk to the beachfront and many restaurants! We could not recommend staying at Marilena’s home more!

The perfect apartment and host. Great comms. Arranged a shuttle bus pickup and drop off from the airport, and had beer in the fridge on arrival! 2 minutes walk from the beach. Beautiful!
