Marco and his team are amazing. Kind and generous, they go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Food is an outstanding feature here . Breakfast with yoghurt and fruits , eggs made your way and home made croissants so good ! The evening meal is like a fine dining experience. Service every where is great. The place itself is peaceful and calm and surrounded by nature. We went for a forest walk daily . Our four days were so enjoyable. We left feeling sad and miss our new friends!

It was clean, beautiful and super comfortable. The owner Marco was incredibly welcoming and kind, and really made sure that we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was also outstanding, the best pasta we had while in Italy.

Our stay at Masseria del Carboj was truly exceptional! Marco and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the cooking class with chef Giuseppe was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant on-site served delicious meals, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chef. The premises and surrounding area were stunning, offering picturesque views and a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was also excellent, providing a variety of tasty options to start the day. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

We had a beautiful stay with our 18 month old daughter. The property is amazing with secure easy parking, beautiful pool and grounds, wonderful restaurant (with high chairs and kids options!) and lovely wine and olive oil made on site. Everyone was professional and friendly. Our room was generous in size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was wonderful with pancakes, eggs, fruit, pastries etc. We hope to return!

This is a beautiful property! The outdoor space was great. Our rooms were all comfortable and well appointed. We live the Ortigia brand products. The staff were warm and friendly- all awesome. Special nod to Marco for his knowledge warmth and hospitality during our stay. Also- to Chef!!! The food was amazing at the on- site restaurant. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer!!

This is a New place and the place to go. Extremely good service. Pool area lounge is exceptionel. Rooms are perfect and breaktfast is better than most places. Food and wine in the restaurant is top class.

doesn't change my 10/10 points for the hotel, but if they had fly net in the windows, that would be nice also, no cloth drying rack for swimwear and towels

The restaurant is a little overpriced but still very enjoyable. This would not put me off going back as overall the place is still great value.

Fantastic warm and friendly staff who really looked after you. Beautiful surroundings, lovely rooms, and great amenities. My wife said "unpretentious luxury" which I think sums it up perfectly.

Masseria del Carboj is a very special place. A stunning, serene oasis. We absolutely loved it & cannot wait to return. Beautiful, large, comfortable room with a view, wonderful pool & gardens. Marco the host & staff were so friendly & helped. The dinner in the restaurant was amazing & delicious. We enjoyed their own wines & olive oil. Close to Menfi, Selinunte & 10-15 minutes to the beach. An hour from Agrigento. Loved, loved, loved it!

Amazing beautiful place with the best staff! The hotel is really new, nice and clean with all amenities, could easily be a 5 star hotel. They have a great chef and most importantly, Marco, is the best host we’ve had in a long time! Not only he takes care of everything, but he also gave us great recommendations (and booked!) for restaurants and even a boat trip. Also they have great local wine and olive oil! Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back!

Summertime in Sicily, leaving the cities in need of some air and a view to the horizon, we needed a place to relax. The domain of Masseria was really perfect for this. Already the roads passing through vineyards, almonds and olive groves was only topped by the warm welcome from Julia and Marco. Do I have to mention the Prosecco welcome drink or the refreshing white wine from the domain? While receiving the necessary explanations , you cannot hinder benefiting from the fantastic view down the valley to the sea. The rooms and the decorations are done with good taste and harmony in colours and furniture , equipped with A/C and wifi. Then , just a pause on the quality sunbeds before a dip in the pool. The question aroused where to eat and here The Masseria offers a fine italian dinner, lunch and breakfast, as well as the possibility of extra wishes. The herbal garden, in a country look , is fantastic, beware of the hot peppers ! And of course, we had our questions concerning sightseeing places (Greek temples in Selinunte is a must) and Marco gave us all pieces of advice. While writing this review , I still see the smooth countryside in front of me and the soft touch of the warm wind on my skin and really missing it. This is a place we will not forget. One recomendation for all potential visitors, do not hesitate to ask for their domains own olive oil, it is worth while. Go for it.
