Although the breakfast was basic, it was sufficient to start the day. Also a bit more pricey probably depending on the time of the year that might change but overall it's OK

My two-night stay at Hotel Maximus in Rome was pleasant. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city, and the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a decent experience, and I would consider staying there again in the future.

The hotel is very nice, but its two finest features are its staff and its location. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, and I was always greeted by cheerful, helpful staff. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and were always very responsive to my questions and any requests that I made. The location of this hotel is great for visiting Rome. It is a ten-minute walk from the Rome Termini train station and just several minutes away from a metro stop.

Had a little trouble adjusting the temperature in the room. My wife wanted it a little warmer, and we couldn't figure it out, but it was fine with me.

Breakfast was excellent! A lot of places just have a continental breakfast, but this one had eggs and bacon along with all the other breads, yogurts, fruit, cereals, etc. Also had a machine to fill up my water bottle with fresh spring water.

The room was comfortable and a very good size for a single room. The hotel itself was very pretty and it felt nice to be in. The breakfast had a good selection. The best part was the service! The ladies at the front desk were amazing and so helpful. They shared tips on what I could do and were so accommodating. I enjoyed my stay here!

The person staying in the room next to ours was smoking and the smoke blew over on our patio.

Hotel Maximus is a great location for so many reasons to list. The people working at the reception desk were super helpful and friendly! The owner, Paul, talked to us in the lounge while waiting for our room to be ready on our arrival and was very down to earth and helpful. He also owns the Miami Pub down the street, which helped us remember where to turn to the hotel as we came back each night. We ate there and enjoyed their live music after 9:00 p.m. Our room had a patio attached to our room which was lovely!

Bed was small. Walls are very thin - I could hear people talking/shouting/slamming doors and there was a constant sound coming from the pipes. I could also hear people flushing the toilet.

Lovely staff at reception: they were welcoming and super helpful! The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the complimentary kettle and slippers in the room. The hotel is located close to a main road. It is 12mins walk from Termini Station and approx 2mins walk from Repubblica Metro Station. What's more, there is a brilliant pizza place across the road - Pinsallegra!

The hotel is a bit far from the main landmarks (20 min walk), although everything can be easily accessed by bus. The bus stop is on the main avenue (Nacionale) that is 2 min walk from the hotel.

The hotel is very clean and neat, you can see it was recently renovated. The stuff was welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was great. The beds were extremely comfortable too. We also liked the breakfast.
