arriving at reception the first night was a nasty shock 🤦‍♀️very dated decor, did not feel like a 5 star luxury hotel . decor in bar and other areas is really nice, reception just needs to be updated. first impressions weren’t good. bedroom layout and storage isn’t good. simple thjngs like hooks on. ack if bathroom door, doors opening wrong way, general layout of suite for 3 people didn’t work.

There are only 2 things. One is bed. I think that in 5stars hotel double bed should not have a junction that significantly reduces the sleeping comfort Second is neighborhood of the company that offer boat trip. Loud music was heard everyday on the beach.

Not the hotels fault but the cable car link wasn’t open and we were reliant on the buses which were good during the day. Taxis after 7 into Toarmina €20 one way (no Uber)

Wifi speed was not enough to stream Netflix via laptop. The TV in the room is relatively small and old, with no Smart TV capabilities.

Beautiful view from the room onto morning sun and bay. The same beautiful view every morning together with breakfast. Great location and super easy/close transfer up the cableway to Taormina. We highly recommend the in-hotel bar and restaurant - worth a try during your stay!

Nothing different could have been done to make us feel like we had a better stay. Unusual for me to say - but entirely faultless.

The level of quality of the hotel style and the upkeep to a high standard, coupled with the exceptional view and the constant level of 5* service provided by ALL of the hotel staff - made our trip away incredible.

We didn't love our room. It is very dated and the carpet was badly stained, bathroom feels tired. Definitely doesn't fit the rest of the decor on the property. The manager was so kind and offered to move us. They really went out of their way to make us comfortable. We also found the breakfast was OK. Nothing special. However, the terrace where breakfast is served is beautiful and nice to have coffee on in the morning.

Things we loved the most were the panoramic views, the staff was excellent, and the bar area had great cocktails, bites, and terrace to relax on. The private beach was also very convenient with a few cute restaurants within walking distance.

The inside restaurant is soulless , no intimacy, feels like a room set up for breakfast. Our bedroom (junior suite) was a great size, with a fab terrace and relatively recently refurbished bathroom but was generally a little dated plus the bed although comfortable was quite short! My husband is 6’4 and his feet hung over the end by a good way. The water from the shower did not get hot enough _must be on a limiter..

Great location on the beach, water lovely despite pebbly bottom, close to gondola to head up to the centre of Taormina. The staff were all wonderful, breakfast fab. The restaurant is terrace is gorgeous, great views from the bedroom.

The lighting in the restaurant in the evening was very harsh and a nicer atmosphere could have been easily created with softer lighting.

Through no fault of the hotel, the rain made our stay a little less perfect than it might otherwise have been.

Excellent room and facilities, including the beach and the breakfast, which was wonderful! The staff were also generally very helpful. As we did not need to leave for our return flight until 5.30pm we were very impressed by being able to use all the hotel facilities for the day and in particular the offer of a room to use at the end of the day so that we could change into our travelling clothes. Made all the difference!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were treated with a lot of care and made to feel welcome from the second we arrived, throughout our stay. We were upgraded without even asking. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. The staff were very helpful with giving us tips on locations to visit. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for your vacation in Taormina.

When you enter the room, there is an unpleasant smell coming from the bath (old plumbing, I assume). And, we had 3 times problems with opening the door of our room (with the key), but the staff was very nice and somebody came quickly each time and opened the door with a special key.

The location of the hotel is absolutly amazing!!! And the big balconies let you enjoy it even more, from the privacy of the rooms. The private beach is very nice, with good service. The restaurant definitely deserves at least a visit for the dinner...very romantic atmosphere, with live piano music. Rooms are spacious, nice furnished and full of natural light.

I don't think there is better accommodation for the situation in which you want to visit Taormina and take a bath in a fairytale bay. For us it was the most beautiful experience in Sicily I was going to forget, it's worth trying any food on the restaurant menu.
