Serena was really kind and helpful. The hotel is well positioned right on the seafront and also in the centre of town. Our room was perfect. Santa Marina is a beautiful town and Salina is a magical island.

This is the most wonderful hotel you could wish for, when you're staying on Salina! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helps you with everything you need or want. Every day they prepare a nice breakfeast and in the evening a great aperitifo experience. The terrace on which you drink and eat has a wonderful view over the nearby islands and the piazza, which is situated right next to it. When staying here, you can feel the life on Salina and the wonderful people living on the island. The beach is just a minute away from your hotel room, as well as a plethora of great restaurants. After a few days staying here, you will meet familiar faces who greet you with a smile and make your holiday experience a one of a kind. What a wonderful place we definitely will return to.

The staff was the best part of our stay. everyone was so friendly and helpful. the rooms were lovely- the beds comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. the breakfast was great and the aperitivo on the terrace was heaven- great drink options are available served with a wonderful selection of snacks to enjoy while you gaze at the sea. the location is perfection. it’s so close to the port- just a quick walk from the ferry. the bus stops right in front of the hotel if you want to explore the island. and there is a beach directly in front for a swim. the back of the hotel leads directly to the main street full of restaurants and shops.

Hotel Mercanti di Mare has beautifully decorated rooms, very warm and welcoming staff, the café area has stunning views and the breakfast is delicious. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel next time we visit the island.

Mercanti di Mare exceeded our expectations. Incredibly well-positioned in Santa Marina, curated in every single detail, with spacious rooms and super attentive staff...Honestly, it felt like a four-star stay, not three. A lovely, thoughtful, comfortable hotel in Salina!

My girlfriend and I had an incredible stay. The stuff was kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the beach is right in front of the reception. We’ll be back. As written in older reviews, it is worth it to book an apartment with balcony.

The hotel has no parking, so if you rent a car during your stay on the island finding a place to park can be a question of luck. If you rely on island transport or you use the port to visit other islands, the location is great.

The location was within easy walking distance from where the hydrofoil docks and adjacent to the main shopping street. Nice view from the terrace where you have breakfast. The room was a nice size, the air conditioner worked well, and the bathroom and shower were more than adequate. But what made the stay memorable was the helpful, kind, and joyful staff. Contact before our arrival was excellent and that same level of attention to detail was consistent through our stay and our departure.

Great Location near to the port, but not too busy with the traffic. Phantastic staff and breakfast buffet on the terrace, that converts into a bar above a lovely square in the evening. Higly recommendable

Dario and his staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. He gave us excellent restaurant and beach recommendations; he really goes above and beyond for his guests. The hotel serves an amazing breakfast on a beautiful terrace with the most wonderful view. It was a real pleasure staying here!

Loved the room (decoration, high ceilings) but would have loved a bit more light and air. Next time I hope the seaview rooms will still be available.

A wonderful place to stay in a perfect location on the seafront of marvelous Santa Marina - the hotel is very tastefully decorated, the people and the overall atmosphere lovely, the breakfast splendid. Can’t wait to be back again!
