It’s too far to walk into town but we knew that and it’s more than made up for in other areas.

Slightly far out of town, but bus service made this easier to manage.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pool was a great place to relax. Easy to find location and ample parking. The front terrace area was great to sit and have a coffee/beer. Bar and restraunt prices were very reasonable. Location was handy for Balcony of Italy and close to the Swiss border. A genuine family run business who care and take pride in their hotel.

The problems begins with the services. The wifi in the rooms is so bad that its safe to say there is no wifi. After trying to do a 5min work for 40min I gave up and went to the reception where the connection is great but its so hot there on a summer day... The breakfasts are poor, they could be so much better with a bit of effort. The coffe is bad, the omelett is terrible, the choice is poor. The view is a great benefit of the hotel but they wont let people sit on the terrace during beakfast to enjoy the view. I know why, the tables are outside tables but man that was a bad choice to put them there Im giving overall good rating so the hotel can improve. Even with all its negative aspects, I would stay again IMHO

The value for price is great no dought. The pool is nice and they are really putting effort into making it clean. Large parking is a plus

The room was small for us, my husband is 1.93 M and he could not shower. Our room was on the Mansarde, the ventilation from the other AC was coming directly in our room. The room had a really small balcony (would not even call it a balcony). The toilet seat requires to be changed. The breakfast with a small selection of food. Coffee was acceptable but being in Italy I would of expected for a more quality coffee.

Property is situated on a nice and beautiful location. The room was clean. It would require some updating. Service was great and all our questions were answered with a smile.

Good location not far from city center of Menaggio, 20 minutes from Villa del Balbianello. It has a restaurant for dinner but there are plenty of good one nearby hotel , good basic breakfast, very welcoming staff/owner. Nice swimming pool for kids with mountain background with plenty parking space. You can take ferry w/o car from Cadenabbia to Bellagio, just leave the car in nearby parking area (paid parking) and you have more relaxing walk. Room was big enough for 4 of us and clean.

Overall, it was a little outdated, but at the price it was, we were more than happy. Sounds a bit silly, but only one plug socket in the whole room was tricky...

The breakfast was poor, One electrical outlet in the room is in the middle of the bed, it interfered with the comfort of sleeping and charging devices such as phone, computer, tablet. Rooms on the second floor without an elevator. Toilet without key to lock

The hotel staff was courteous and always helped with any question, The view from the room is amazing, the hotel and the room are always clean, organized parking, a beautiful pool with an arranged sitting area

Booking.com showed this hotel as 1.5 miles from Menaggio but in reality it was a lot further on a road too dangerous to walk along. Bus service was regular but finished quite early in the evening. Evening meal choice was limited.

The fridge at the room was quite a small for one to be in family room (2 adults + 4 kids). No possibility to charge an electric car.

Very warm welcome, we had one extra kid and it was not an issue. Everything was well. The pool is big enought (maybe 20 m x 5 m?) both to swim and to have fun. Big ptivate parking space in front of building free of charge.

Nice hotel with a fantastic view and beautiful gardens. Staff was very polite and accommodated us even though we arrived quite late. Too bad we didn't have time to use their very nice pool. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices.

The room ventilation was not good but that is not true for all rooms. My room was on the attic and had no windows which brings a sort of mild smell of an unventilated room. The kitchen closes at 2100 and thus if you are reaching after that time, it would be good idea to have something outside. As a value addition, the hotel could keep some mobile phone charging points in common areas which would be particularly helpful for international travelers.

The staff was very polite and friendly. We had a relatively late check-in around 2145 which was accommodated with a smile. There is ample parking space and breakfast spread is decent. The hotel is well maintained, clean and does a very good job with BnB if you were there just for it. We found the the beds and pillows particularly comfortable.
