When in Matera you should definitely stay here. The apartment is very modern and luxury indeed, with a spacious shower. It has the perfect location to arrive by car and still be right around the corner from the city center. It will take you only a few minutes to walk from here into the beautiful streets of sassi di Matera. The host Gianmarco was super helpful and went all out to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

This accommodation is beautiful! We arrived before the stipulated check-in time and expected to just drop our luggage off but to our pleasant surprise, they got the rooms cleaned and ready for us upon arrival. Gianmarco, the manager was there and was very helpful with all his recommendations. He is also clearly very proud of his city and has some amazing restaurant recommendations too. (we had some of the best meals this trip from his reccs!) Breakfast provided by the hotel is at a cafe a little while away with extremely delicious sweet treats! Really appreciate that we could order our fill instead of the usual 1 pastry and 1 coffee offered by majority of the other accommodations in Puglia and Basilica. My husband also left his airpods behind and they really tried their best to get it delivered to us in Florence. Really appreciate the effort and sorry for the multiple communication! Thank you Gianmarco and Francesca! Would not hesitate to recommend!

Absolutely nothing …would stay again

Everything…Very clean, modern and comfortable..exactly as pictured. Coffee in the foyer Our host was extremely friendly and gave us such good advice about the best sights to see and how to get to them Technically check in is at 3 but we were texted and told if we needed to check in earlier we just needed to let them know The property is very close to the main square and a relatively easy walk from the station

We loved the location, so easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. The staff communicated with us promptly after booking, and throughout our stay. Gianmarco made excellent recommendations for dining, sightseeing, breakfast; and he patiently listened to us practice our Italian! The room and bathroom were spotless! Thank you!!

The parking was a bit a problem. We were given instructions to park somewhere, but there was no place. So we had no other choice than to drive away. We were very lucky to find a spot in a street, 800 meters from the building. Otherwise it would have been a problem, since we couldn't reach the owner on that moment.

Breakfast was at another place, but not far. The food was very good. Min point was that we had to eat inside. I prefer a terrace for breakfast. The room was 1 minute walking distance from the beautiful center of Matera. In a very quiet street. Perfect!

The cleaners went through our room before checkout time! We went to breakfast came back at 9:40am and cleaners had already cleaned our room and moved our luggage out! This I did not appreciate

Our room description did not match up to what we had - it was a suite that stated separate bedroom and living room but we weren’t given this. Trying to contact property prior to trip was difficult with little to no response. Shower in one room was so small you couldn’t turn around

Really great spot just a 4min walk into the main piazza with plenty of street parking (can pay hourly and it’s very cheap!). Hotel rooms were lovely and modern - a nice change from the older places we’ve stayed. Breakfast at the local cafe was delicious!!!

Checking in to our room was a little frustrating with no one on reception or instructions on how to check in. As a hotel designer I have a few suggestions for the room….include a shelf in the shower for body wash and shampoos, storage shelf in the bathroom for your toiletry bags and suitcase stands in the room so to get your luggage off the ground….overall I thought the rooms were lovely.

Very comfortable BnB within a quiet neighbourhood and a 10 minute walk to visiting the historical city of Matera. The room was well appointed with neutral tones and although small it was adequate for our stay. You also receive a breakfast voucher to be used at a local cafe which was great and the owners were lovely.

Nothing - could not fault the property!

The hosts were amazing, giving us lots of advice and great food recommendations! They were always in hand to help if we had any questions. The rooms itself was very spacious and decorated to a very highly standard. The location was perfect, just tucked away from the hustle and bustle but the next street along from the Main Street!

Breakfast wasn’t in the app building, but on the corner another street, but at least was good, nice man in the bistro and great breakfast with coffe.

Unfortunately, the room had a slight mouldy smell, and we found the shower and overall bathroom size to be a bit too small.

The room we stayed in had a nice and modern design, and the bed and linens were both new and very comfortable.
