The location can be a bit of a challenge. The last bit up the hill is very steep. It was our choice not to rent a scooter for example, so we walked them happily but be aware that with luggage it can be a challenge. We opted for a transfer both ways and were very happy we did.

The apartment we had was great: very spacious, quiet and with all the amenities. Even beach towels and a washing machine! Our hostess Lucia was very friendly and helpful: she had bustickets and tons of info. Breakfast was lovely (we loved the fresh fruit!) and in a gorgeous location. We hope we can be back some day, 'cause we loved the island as well.

The properly is beautifully situated with an incredible view, yet a short walk to Fungo beach and a cute lively strip. Lucia and Francesco were incredible hosts - the delicious breakfasts, the advice and just everything to make our stay amazing.

There was absolutely nothing to fault about this property!

What an incredible find this property was! We booked this last minute as the property we had originally booked had made a mistake with our booking and couldn't add an extra bed for my son as they were fully booked. Immediately I started looking for replacement accommodation and I noticed that this property had had a cancellation and an apartment had become available. When we arrived we were taken aback by the stunning and far reaching views from the patio at the property, and we were offered a welcome drink sitting out on the patio. Lucia was extremely helpful and friendly and gave us recommendations of what to do and where to go. In the mornings we were served a delicious breakfast of filled croissants, yoghurts, toast, fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice whilst sitting in the shade on the patio admiring the view. The rooms were also lovely. They were clean and well presented with fantastic facilities including a fridge, an oven, a coffee machine, a washing machine, and air conditioning. However, one thing I would mention is that our taxi driver struggles to reach the property as he was driving a large van so it didn't suit the narrow, winding road up to the property and he had to stop half way leaving us to walk the rest. This would be fine if you were in a smaller taxi or on a moped. Although, it is worth the journey up the road as this is what gives the property its breathtaking views. We loved the property so much that we are already planning another trip back there next year for a longer period of time. This property is a MUST stay when visiting Ischia.

Nothing, all was very very fine.

Truly sublime stay for 6 days. Hosts are very very friendly and most helpful (we rented a car to explore the island), great breakfasts tailored to your taste, the apartment has a very nice atmosphere and had all modern amenities one can wish for, excellent airco, sublime view on the see. The nearby village Lacco Ameno is cute. A super place to relax, a true gem. We will definitely return.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful. The staff were always so helpful and friendly, and our suite and view were incredible. Bring located near the bus stop and in Lacco Ameno was great because everything is so accessible. We wish we could’ve stayed there forever! And we will definitely come back :)

We absolutely loved everything: the apartment is really lovely (beautifully designed, and very comfortable), the hosts are very kind and helpful, the breakfast was also really nice, the garden is amazing, with a breathtaking view (especially from the jacuzzi, it was splendid). Belgodere di Mezzavia Apartments is a home on the edge of clouds with the scenic view. It was a love at first sight! If possible, I would give 100 points instead of 10. Everything you see in the pictures is many times more beautiful. Rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. In the beautiful garden there are many places to sit either in the sun or in the shade of the sun. The best hosts you could want-friendly, helpful, sweet. It was like meeting old friends. Dear Lucia and Francisco, you made our staying a wonderful vacation. I will definitely recommend this place and we will go back. ❤️

Everything was perfect

Everything about our stay was incredible. Lucia and Francesco gave us a very warm welcome with a 3 course lunch on our arrival with amazing local wine, served on their terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast everyday was delicious as well. The location is perfect for exploring the island and experiencing the authentic Ischia. Every recommendation Lucia gave us was amazing, especially a sunset dinner at a family run restaurant nearby called Monte Corvo. Francesco even organised a scooter for us to be dropped at the property. Nothing was too much trouble, they made us feel so welcome that we wished we didn’t have to leave! Thank you for everything.

The view was spectacular, and the facilities were great. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. They were there to receive us even though we arrived late in the evening, and even treated us with a pizza for dinner! There were fresh cherries and grapes in our room when we arrived, and on our last day the owner gave us a lift to the harbor. The apartments are located on a hill, which provides a unique view to Ischia. As a young couple, we did not have any problems walking up the hill. Further, there is a great beach, a thermal park, several restaurants and shops within walking distance. This was the best place we stayed during our 2 weeks in Italy, and we were amazed with the generosity of the hosts. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we plan to come back one day.
