Personally I was really disappointed with the breakfast. There was no fresh cheese or hams (or eggs, sausages, whatever). Only cheese to spread. If you wanted salty breakfast, there were very limited options - cheese spread + bread or small pizzas. For the sweet there were more options. Everything was homemade, which is good of course, but it is not so big plus for me in the whole review. In addition you have to ask the staff for everything, you can only take the cheese spreads and some friuts and that's it. You have to ask for every piece of cake, hot water, juice, bread or even just packed yoghurt. You can't just take how much do you want or what do you want. The staff is very kind, but for me personally limited options + no possibility to take (and of course not waste!) things that I want by myself is minor minus. If you are also not people person in the morning, you would be disappointed too.

It was easy to park on the street right in front of the hotel (because the hotel parking was full, but it it safe little (not main) street), very kind staff. Walkable distance from the corso with restaurants and and beautiful pier. We visited not in the main season so that's probably reason that the shops and many restaurants were closed but despite that it was still no problem to find something to eat nearby. Very good blackout for lightsleepers and spacious balcony with chairs - must be so comfy during the summer! Room was small but had everything needed including big wardrobe, TV etc. Free wi-fi, it works well.

Pillows were too hard for us, even the other ones on the cupboard. Noise from neighbour's bathroom water pipes woke us. Would prefer to serve ourselves breakfast rather than be served.

Bed linens and pillows could have been better quality. 4 pillows instead of 2. There is no lift--so keep that in mind. Attendants are happy to carry luggage. Town is quiet, closes down early. I suggest to stay in Massa (for the price) and play or shop in Forte dei Marmi which is the town it borders, cute downtown...fancy shopping.

Traveling with my husbands and another couple. We are all American and beyond basic greetings...only speak English. Front desk did a great job communicating with us. I accidentally booked one more room than I needed. He worked with booking.com to get me a full refund. Night help was engaged and informative. He was a self-proclaimed whiskey expert, which we enjoyed. We booked the "Jack and Jill" bedroom on the top floor, had gorgeous views of the water and the mountains. Balcony was a delight. Room was spacious for Italy and had everything we needed. Walking distance to our restaurant reservations and the beach front. Free breakfast in the morning was an added bonus. Also, there is gated parking. Highly recommend!

The room offered for 2 adults and a 3 years old kid was super small and we had to sleep in one bed, which was not large enough for all three. The cost is quite high for what it is.

The hotel is beachfront. Everything was very clean. The stuff is very friendly and ready to help wish any question.

The location of the property is perfect as we could walk to the beach and to the centre of town. On-site parking was a bonus. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided a great breakfast. They gave us great recommendations for eating and swimming. Not only did the they help book meals for us but we got discounts because of them.

The hair dryer in the bathroom was working, but maybe needs to be updated with a newer model, but that's about it.

The staff was lovely and friendly, very warm people that couldn't do enough for us The hotel is literally at 200m fro mthe beach, the balcony is seafront. Rooms very clean and cozy, with big wardrobes and hangers for the clothes. Towels changed every 2-3 days, very comfortable mattresses and choice of pillows: one soft, one firm (memory foam). The breakfast is great, with a choice of cakes and pastries handmade and fresh, or on request made at the moment. I loved staying there. There was not a restaurant but they have agreements with very good ones in the city center (10 mins walk) and you can have a very good discount on your meal. They can also book the tables for you at the reception.

The room is adequate with a nice balcony. However the bathroom needs renovating. it’s worn out and smells weird, musty. There’s no privacy door hanger so the cleaning crew kept wanting to come into our room around 9 a.m. each day! They just knocked once and put the key in the lock to enter. There are signs posted about keeping quiet in the hallway but for hours during the afternoon there was so much commotion with people talking loudly and moving luggage and what sounded like furniture!! Literally for hours! The staff at the small reception area is preoccupied with answering phones which btw you can hear in your room on the first floor and not very attentive when you walk up to the desk. Breakfast is advertised 7-10 a.m. but that’s not true. we arrived at 9:30 and asked about the eggs and the attendant rudely said you’re out of luck and this is what we have left. No apologies either. Very matter of fact and careless. so we did not go there the next day or the following morning. We would have been happy with what they had only if the lady had given us an explanation and a smile.
