How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Can't think of anything.
After the last week staying in small hotel rooms, it was nice to have this spacious 2 bedroom & two bathroom apartment and get some laundry done. It was also in a very convenient location and quiet inside. The arrangement for check-in to get the keys was easy. The Internet worked well.

Getting into the property for check-in was reliant on host availability to buzz us in, however, they were attentive and we were able to enter with a short wait.
Spacious apartment with great storage space and a lovely balcony. It also had a modern bathroom and a stocked coffee machine

One of the bedrooms only has a sheer curtain and no block out blind or shutter, so was never really dark at night
Stunning property. Central to all transport and easy to walk to main shopping/eating area. Restaurants close by, in the next street, were excellent.

The apartment can be a little bit small if you are more than 2 people but overall if you do not spend a lot of time there but rather in the city, it is still okay.
Easy check-in, check-out; the host is really responsive and helpful. Great location, you are in the city center, 10 minute walk from Duomo and Brera offers several dining options. AC worked very well and the apartment is well-equipped with everything you might need, coffee machine, tea bags, bathroom amenities etc. If you need to park your car, a nearby parking garage offers daily parking for 35eur. A nice cafe is located downstairs, opens at 7am, perfect for breakfast.

Unfortunately we are not used to street noise eg trams/traffic which was disappointing but the staff moved us without hesitation
We moved from the original apartment due to some minor details. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful in this matter. We loved this very central location. Handy to trams, restaurants and the metro.

Slightly dated bathrooms. The safe was not working.
The location is excellent, walking distance to both the castle and Duomo. The beds are comfortable and we had no issue with tram/traffic noise (3rd floor). The staff was friendly and helpful.

I think everything was perfect. If I visited Milan again I would definitely stay there again if the place is available.
The location was amazing, close to everything. The company that manages the apartment were easy to communicate with and since the apartment was not occupied when we arrived there they allowed us to get in earlier then 3pm. The apartment itself was clean and spacious, and also provided a washer and dryer. The building provides an elevator to the apartment, which for older buildings like this are not as common. The building is located very close to Metro station, 1 minute walk, and train station, 5-10 minute walk. The building is 5 minute walk to Duomo and a lot of great restaurants. We loved everything about this apartment

Air conditioner was not very strong and we didn’t have full control from the room. Given we were there in summer, it was warmer than we would have liked in the room
Staff were absolutely lovely - great check in process and very nice clean apartment. Big bathroom, sofa bed was actually very comfortable. Had a fridge and washing machine which was ideal

Booking.com says slippers are provided. I didn't bring my slippers. But there were no slippers. It caused inconvenience for me. Also, the water heater in the kitchen didn't work. Someone apparently knew the problem and the water to the heater was shut off. I had to take a cold water shower the first day. After we notified the problem and were instructed to turn on the hot water valve, the water leaked all over the kitchen floor and created a mess. We called the manager and a technician was sent right away to fix the problem.
Excellent location, close to everything.

Great location in Brera close to the metro but quiet. Walking distance to many sights including Duomo. Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment with beautiful green patio. Helpful and friendly staff. We were able to leave our luggage in the office before check in and they delivered it directly to the apartment. Very recommended!

Before making the booking, I hesitated due to negative comments about street noise from previous guests. However, upon further consideration, I realized the accommodation location was what I wanted. To my surprise, the street noise wasn't as disruptive as I anticipated and didn't bother me or my family during our stay. The vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area added to our experience. The only minor issue was the room size, but it was easily resolved as I slept on the comfortable sofa bed. Overall, I highly recommend this place as it's conveniently located in the heart of Milan, allowing you to fully enjoy the city.
