How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The loft 2-room apartment- don’t be alarmed with the less than inviting door, doorway & elevator! The room is quite nice. But quite surprised the front door from the main road is NOT at all lit & has a dilapidated look. The apartment itself is quite nice. However, no hot water on first day and water was as cold as melted glaciers! AC didn’t work - it is barely adequate for onset of summers. We needed two fans to help with circulation and for sleeping. The shower on first floor is like a torture device - sharp shooting of water through hand shower. The sloping roof for the loft room is best avoided for taller folks and those who are not very careful. I believe they are resolving the shower but the AC definitely needs to be replaced! I’d give 10/10 but docking points for the less than satisfactory AC and painful hand shower!
The loft 2-room apartment- Great location, excellent service & support. Good amenities as well. I complained about AC and hot water and the staff immediately looked in and resolved it. There appears to be a way to let yourself in using the key pad - pay attention to those instructions! My folks loved the location & the stay.

It is at the intersection of several very busy streets and the tram (which does shut down late at night). But the host does provide ear plugs if needed. It would be nice if the option of Netflix on the TV - only Italian TV, no BBC or CNN.
Cute little compact apartment with kitchen, separate bedroom, and bath in a great location in Brera Centro. The host was very accommodating when I arrived early. The building has an elevator, so no stair climbing is needed. The AC worked great and plenty of hot water.

No city views and no side tables for drinks to put on when relaxing in the room just a small suggestion.
It was clean modern and safe location for solo traveler’s. Great place for sightseeing and exploring around the city centre.

Fabulous location. Really clean, comfortable, with modern appliances. Everything new and spotlessly clean. The added touch of a welcoming plant and toothbrushes/mini toothpaste... small details that made a big difference. Great communication, especially as they created a WhatsApp to ensure we had easy contact. In person welcome and easy self check out. All excellent.

It isn't one-bedroom apartment as advertised. It was a bit misleading since it's essentially a single room with a separate bed nook. Also, it seems that the actual size of the apartments is smaller than indicated in the listing.
I stayed at these apartments and found them to be tidy and located in the city center. The apartment windows faced an inner courtyard, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was well-organized and clean, reminiscent of a hotel room.

It was a bit noisy from the Turkish restaurant nearby during the afternoon hours, which use the same yard of the building.
We liked the apartment very much. It was easy to get to the centre. The host was very polite and helpful.

Some noise from the main tramline on the street below until late and started early. Fine for sound sleepers.

The apartment was too warm for us and we couldn't turn down the heat. I think the bathroom had a heated floor, which may have been the source of the heat. We had to have the balcony doors open which created a little noise. Thankfully, the room was stocked with earplugs!
This apartment was well stocked with everything we could need. Great location, central to everything. Would love to stay here again, but longer next time. Thank you!
