You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

MaltaThe air conditioning unit was way too loud and couldn’t use it at night. Also, the ceiling fan was old and worn out. Possibly had a bearings issue so it was loud when we tried to switch it on.

Location was very good, not far from train station. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Even though we stayed only one night it was a good place to rest. Breakfast was yummy as well.

Milano Hotel is located just 3 mins walking from Pistoia train station and approx 7 mins to the city center. Room and bathroom are big. The hotel has its own parking, so if you travel by car you won't have headache to park your car. Hotel has tipical italian breafast. I liked everyday cleaning. Bed linen and towels were snow white. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Overall I liked my stay in Milano Hotel.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Very convenient location. Perfect base for spending time either in Pistoia itself - a beautiful gem of a City - or as a centre from which to travel further afield in Tuscany

United KingdomThe hotel is a bit dated, it clearly hasn't been updated for quite some years. It had interesting towels, maybe this is Italian, but the towels were made of the same cloth as a kitchen towel.
The reception was very friendly, the room was very clean.

United KingdomCan hear everything through walls including snoring, lots of sex and going to the toilet in multiple rooms. Only one coffee allowed for breakfast. Had to wait 45 minutes to pay because they didn’t know how to use their card machine and had to call my own bank to rectify. This place has not changed since the 1960s, seriously.
Location to town centre is good and it has parking, cleanliness is good.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. A portable air conditioner had been provided, which helped cool the room fown.

United KingdomEmail sent to Booking.com To Management at Booking.com, I am writing to address a serious matter regarding a reservation made on behalf of two students currently in Italy for a study placement. The reservation was made through your website under the name of XXX on the 1st April 2023. We have received disturbing news that two members of staff at Hotel Milano intentionally overcharged the guests during their stay. This morning, when checking out, they were requested to pay the sum of 458 EUR for the room and refreshments, despite the room being pre-paid on the 1st April 2023 via Booking.com. At the time of the request, a senior member of staff appeared, telling the guests and junior staff member that the payment had already been made, but did not mention it again after the card payment was taken. After the guests questioned the payment, the senior staff member proceeded to the back office and later returned, stating that "everything was fine." During a later conversation with the guests, the senior staff member asked invasive questions such as "where they were from, what were they doing here, and where were they going?", almost appearing to be a form of diversion tactic. We strongly believe that the senior staff member's initial statement that the room was already paid for, followed by the failure to mention it again, was dishonest and deliberate. This led to a total of 908 EUR being taken for the reservation, and no attempt was made to acknowledge the overcharge or to refund the money taken from the card. We consider this to be an act of theft. We have already reported this matter to both yourselves at Booking.com as well as the hotel. Additionally, we plan to also escalate it to the relevant authorities
