If I would have to change one thing it would be the bedding linen, because as it was synthetic we have sweat a lot, plus we are not used to AC so much. Combined it made our night sleep was not as good as it could be.

Very romantic place, located in the wonderful area. I definitely recommend staying here. The balcony is perfect and the amount of coffee provided by host is generous enough :)

The spiral staircase to the room is very steep so would not be good for those with mobility issues. It was not an issue for us.

This apartment with a terrace is fantastic and steeped in history, Carlo was so helpful. The location is perfect to get around Rome.

The bed was a little too soft for my wife and I’s liking, but that is a very small “complaint” that didn’t really even bother us.

Carlo, the host, and his staff are so nice and even carried our luggage up and down the steps for us! Carlo gave us a very in depth tour and explained everything we needed to know. The place was so clean and surprisingly very quiet!

Our stay in Rome was great and Carlo is a fabulous host! When we arrived, he was waiting for us to give us the keys and help us with our suitcases. The apartment is very well equipped and is suitable for a long stay, especially that for every 4 days of stay cleaning is free of charge. You can also enjoy free Netflix. The apartment is in a great location, we've explored all of Rome on foot. Carlo had sent us a long list of non-touristic restaurants that he recommended close to the apartment. We only ate in restaurants on his recommendation and we were never disappointed. Before we arrived, I asked him to suggest us a place to eat our wedding dinner and he recommended us a great place, which made our special day even better!

There was a spiral stairway of about four floors. The stairs become narrower the higher you go. It wasn't a problem for us, but it could be for those with even minor mobility issues.

The host was super friendly and helpful. He even carried our luggage up and down the stairs for us! The room was comfortable and made efficient use of the limited space. The location is amazing -- just a couple of blocks away from Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Also, there is a nice grocery market very close by.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything was perfect. You're right in the heart of Rome! We walked to the Colosseum, bussed (bus stop a 1 minute walk away) to an early morning at the Vatican museums, and then walked back. A beautiful view from the terrace. Bed was large enough to comfortably fit both me and my son, each 6'3". Carlo was incredibly friendly and helpful. I could go on and on!

Excellent value for money, smack in the middle of Rome's historic center. Carlo was an extremely helpful host – even carried our luggage up and down the stairs, and provided us with lots of helpful recommendations. The private roof terrace is a gem!

The Monterone Apartment is heavenly. Right in the centre of Roma, a few steps away from the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, and so many good restaurants and bars. If one wants to feel the city, this is the place. Downstairs is a fully supplied supermarket. The views over the building tops from the small balcony are breathtaking! I am very thankful to Adan and Sig. Carlo for their hospitality and kindness. I will definitely return!

Nothing, it was great!

The property is in a great location, every major site was easily walkable. The apartment itself was super clean! Carlo is a fantastic host, was very knowledgeable and gave great restaurant recommendations. He even went as far to carry our luggage at check in and out and set up our taxi arrangements for the airport at 5 am!!!! Carlo goes above and beyond for a fantastic stay!
