How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Noisy exhaust fan from our bathroom female dorm.just so hard to walk through the hostel due to cobblestone and steep esp when you are carrying a luggage.kitchen was okay but the sink was rusting and not clean, the communal bathroom were clogged.
Staff paula is so friendly. I do hope most staffs working in a hostel or hotel are like her to help out the traveler, give info and everything..

The rooms were very clean and the hostel is quite small so you can easily meet other people. They have a garden which for me was like a small paradise because they also have fish, birds, turtles and some cats. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Giulia, Francesco and tall guy I forgot the name of ( sorry ). Grazie mille, ευχαριστώ πολύ!

I couldn't have found another place other than NAP Hostel Spaccanapoli for my stay in Naples, it was incredible!! The location and facilities are perfect!! The staff at the place is very friendly!! Francesco was very friendly, attentive and cheerful from the minute we arrived until we left. A highly recommended place!! Thank you very much Francesco!!

The bathroom in the dorm gets flooded every time after shower, and very humid. so I always go the shared bathroom. Besides that, it’s quite noisy sometimes, especially if a group of people check in together, they just talk and laugh in the midnight as if there is no other guest…….
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is amazing, you have various choices everyday. I especially love the garden, beautiful and quiet. They provide very social environment, easily to reach other travelers.

Please remember to fix the bathroom in the women room it has problems
An unforgettable stay!! In the heart of crazy Naples center!! With a very beautiful mediterranean garden where we gathered and had dinner and cocktails!! feeling and smelling like my house!! Also the owner was very polite to pick me up from the station because I arrived very late at night 🌙 and I was confused. They also provide very good laundry service and fresh baked breakfast every morning!!!! Ooo and they give you an automatic bracelet key so no stress any more to find your keys!!!!

I personally felt that it was a little awkward that the lockers of the beds above were below the beds of other guests. Furthermore, the guest who had their bed next to mine came with a big suitcase. It didn't fit in the locker and therefore they were keeping it between our beds. However, this would then block the access to my locker (which was below my bed). I then had to move it around everytime I wanted to get something out of my locked but I would say that it was just a minor invoncenience.
The breakfast was great. The staff would prepare a fritatta and some vegetables every morning which gave me the right energy needed for the day! The little garden with the bar was lovely and was great spot to connect to other guests. The beds were comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly.

If you sleep on the bottom bed one of the draws under your bed is used by the person sleeping upstairs and it was not nice having people accessing their draw when your sleeping and having them going in and out of their storage. They need better storage.
Clean and convenient location to the centre of Napoli! The breakfast was also super good and had an awesome variety of food!

Just be careful cause I walked past the entrance twice before looking closely at the big wooden door with a small sign next to it. Also the bathrooms are a bit small.
Amazing location and rooms. Staff are super friendly and the whole place is super clean. Location is right on Spaccanapoli which is very central. The keycard wristbands are super convenient.

Curtains at the beds would make this hostel even better. Showers may need a bit more water pressure.
Very good and excellent breakfast! That alone is worth staying here :) The location is good, close to the metro to Pompeii and on walking distance from everything else. Good and big beds. Lockers and room can be opened by a nice brace so you don't have to worry about bringing your own locker. Showers are adequate, but do their job.
