The surrounding area is very dilapidated. Abandoned buildings, messy beach, roadwork signs all along the street. It's several kilometres away from the centre of Catania, so you need to drive through the industrial area to get to the centre. Hopefully the area will improve as tourism recovers.

Beautiful building, by the beach. Nice relaxed vibe in the hotel with a pleasant garden and pool area.

Sometimes it seemed like the outdoor staff were too busy to help or not so happy when you ask for something. Otherwise, no complaints.

Room was nice, though mattress a little lumpy and soft so any time my partner moved I could feel it. Pool was great and was good to relax.

The menu was limited and quite expensive. The same food was on offer for lunch and dinner. We had good food everywhere in Sciliy so this was a disappointment.

The pool was clean and nicely laid out. Beach bar was a nice addition. Terrace by pool was great for lunch time eating. We were given free access to the lido (which we didnt visit) whch was a plus as the website said it was not open.

The breakfast was good, as was dinner. The bedroom was comfortable but we were shocked by the balcony! It was dirty with peeling plasterwork & a broken glass left on the corner pillar. I sat on the chair & my white top was filthy from the dust.

Seaview is overrated (see picture). So don't pay extra for a room with seaview.

We were aware before we went that the pool and private beach were closed due to the time of year. There is a public beach that can be accessed, however with it being out of season, it was still being cleaned and was littered with quite a lot of rubbish and debris. Work was underway to clean it and set up the lidos for summer. We imagined that in a month's time the beach would be a completely different place. We had hoped to have a couple of chilled days before flying home but without these facilities being available there wasn't much to do within the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Travel into Catania was possible via taxi for around €10 if you use Uber. Instead we got the train to Taormina and had a great day exploring.

Clean bright room with nice touches like complimentary robe, slippers and toiletries. Good breakfast selection and very polite staff who made sure that things were kept topped up during service. Really handy location for airport.

Dirty beaches, and graffiti at the structures around the beach, needs to be dealt with by the city of Catania

Walked to the beach across the road..the city of Catania needs to do a better job at keeping the beaches clean from trash, I was certainly disappointed in the trash at the beach and the lack of upkeep of those beautiful beaches, an opportunity that is being missed for Catania......but the site was beautiful and close to the airport and jumping off spot for our stay in Sicily and travels throughout Sicily.

Not a great location in winter.

This hotel needs some TLC...the corridor carpets are very old. The rooms a a but tired but very clean. The breakfast was very nice.
