We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe had an issue with the heating in our room during our entire stay. The temperature could only be controlled centrally by reception which was inconvenient. There also seemed to be a malfunction and our room was extremely hot (27 degrees) and the temperature could not be adjusted. The heat was so suffocating and uncomfortable we had to sleep with the windows open. Not a good experience given the cost of the accomodation. No information in the room - required to communicate via WhatsApp. Spa/whirlpool not available for use (presumably as off season). Recommend using address in google maps rather than typing in the hotel name as that took us to a dirt track that didn’t actually lead to the hotel.
Luxurious stay on a large property. Peaceful and relaxing. Very beautiful building and views. Limited number of guests made for a tranquil stay. Staff were friendly, particularly the restaurant / bar staff who were excellent. We really enjoyed the onsite bistro for breakfast and dinner. We also made use of the relaxing bar. Spa facilities were included in the stay which is great value. Able to enjoy the facilities due to the limited number of guests. Toiletries and towels were lovely. Bed was comfortable.

SwitzerlandThe bed was a bit too hard for me, but I guess that's just very individual what people like, and Italy tends to have harder beds than we are used to.
Just Everything! Lovely welcome, super friendly staff, the room was beautiful (we got an upgrade to the white suite, and it was lovely), the SPA and pool area is just amazing, the views beautiful, and the best of all is the food! We had lunch in the bistro and dinner at the fine dining restaurant, and both times was, the service amazing and the food very good. It was a shame that we only stayed here for a night on our trip to Tuscany, but we'll be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nordelaia. The location is fantastic, the hotel cozy & modern and the staff was super friendly. We were helped perfectly by Ilenia. She knows a lot of good places in the area and during our stay took care of everything. The pool, the sauna, the massages and of course the perfect restaurant made sure we were completely relaxed at the end of our stay. Special thanks also to David for the great wine pairings and to Charles for giving us the best white-truffle experience ever ;-).

Beautiful building and location. Didn't feel like you were sharing the hotel most of the time. Lots of nice touches and attention to detail. Great gym. Senior staff and front of house extremely competent. Great breakfast.

NetherlandsNordelaia feels like heaven. Beautifully up on a hill, with stellar views, this is just a place of relaxation and enjoyment. The staff was impeccable, the premises very chic and clean, and the quality of food and spa outstanding. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming again! PS: If you get the chance we can highly recommend a day trip to Portofino, which is just 1h away!

United KingdomHi Reception, I have received your request for feedback on Trust Pilot etc for our stay at your hotel for the night of 9/11. I feel I need to write you a separate email before it goes on Trust Pilot as it may not give me enough space to actually explain what happened. When we arrived your receptionist very kindly ordered us a drink to relax in your lounge, then took us on a very good tour of your hotel. We went down for a drink in your bar and the barman kindly gave us a drink "on the house" as we had to wait for a while as your bar was full of guests for the event that night. The waitress took our order and we ordered the pasta dish and the waitress said did we want to sample the truffles on the pasta as it was 6 euros per gramme. We said we would try a sample of the truffle. She then served the pasta and served the truffles. When we asked for the bill the man in charge, with the blue and white checked suit, gave us the bill and the charge for the truffles was 60 euros. The waitress asked for us to try the truffles and then charged us 60 euros. I queried the bill with the man in charge who came across very arrogantly. He said didn't we realise the truffles were expensive and we must pay for what we had taken. We said we knew truffles were expensive and only agreed to a sample of 6 euros. His attitude was very aggressive and totally uncalled for. This was not a way to treat a customer and a foreigner. We felt he was taking advantage of us being tourists as tourists will always pay. This is not a way to treat customers and I want an unreserved apology for this man's behaviour which was totally uncalled for. His boss, who had offered us a free drink for our appetiser obviously agreed and agreed to waive the 60 euros cost.
