How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The pool was shut and the pool was one reason I booked this hotel. I ended up paying more and the beer was expensive.
The staff were friendly and spoke great English and were helpful. Free parking but only if a space available out the front if not parking underground at €18 a day

We stayed in this hotel just overnight and drove then to Italy - Florenz. Quite a big hotel with a lot of space, so we liked it. Eat and drinks were good enough. Our intention was not to stay long like we would do for a longer vacation, but looked more for a stopover. The location is perfect, because it is not far away from downtown, so we could drive easily with the subway to Milan for one day. For a longer stay i would not recommend it for a family, because i think for kids there are nicer places, but again that was not our intention. Beside that all, the hotel service was very nice as well as their recommendations. Food and drink was not luxury, but they had all an average person needs. We can't complain and can recommend that hotel easily for 2 - 4 nights to see Milan or as a stopover.

We asked for cleaning our room, but it was not done properly. All the empty waterbottles were still in the room and the plates were not cleaned up
There was fresh drinkwater everyday for free. Which I think that should be normal for a country where you cannot drink water from the tap

The hotel facilities definitely need a renovation.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is quite good and the hotel offers parking. The breakfast might not be great, but offers some good options.

An old bottle below the bed. Unfortunatley no fridge. Quite noisy. Quick ride with the tram to the beach/inner City.
The breakfast was splendid. Family rooms perfect for families of 4!

The metro station is a little bit far from the hotel, but still acceptable.
Nice location, spacious room, confortable beds. The breakfast was of buffet type and it was free for children, the food was good.

No dislikes. But overall just seemed fine.
Overall experience was nice but doesn't even go when compared to a "Novotel" standard experience. Everything is very average.

Bed sheets for extra bed (sofa) were very old with holes. Sofa was not comfortable at all. Room is small, with sofa extended there is literally no space to move. Not suitable for 4 peoples ( 2 adults, 2 children) , even they sell this option.
Breakfast was very good - good stuff and various options. Even the hotel is not in center - there is metro very close and is really easy to visit everything by metro.

Room was too small for a family of 4. With the luggages, it was difficult to move around. Not much facilities for the kids. Swimming pool was closed as apparently they are open only during summer
Easy access to Trams, bit of a walk to access metro. Good food options available. One of the best pasta I had during my entire trip was just 5 min walk from the hotel. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Offers luggage storage so that we can leave the luggages and explore the city even after check-out. The breakfast provided was ok for 15 Euro per person.

There was no air-condition. The staff member said that it is not a season (April-24C outside). It would be good to do some refurbishment - hotel looks old.
The room was in a good size. The reception staff was very kind and helpful. Very comfortable check in and check out time. The tram and metro station near by.

The commode in the toilet was dirty from Day-1, and it continued to be so till the day of checkout...thus, the housekeeping was not upto the mark and the floor supervision was poor!

Location of metro is 10 min from hotel.
Breakfast was nice. Lady at reception helped me book a taxi last minute which was very nice as it was raining and i couldnt find any.

The room’s walls were dirty and need repainting. It was extremely hot in the room for the season making sleep uncomfortable.
Excellent stuff. Amazing breakfast. The location is convenient with a free onsite parking and close to metro station.
