There was not a real door (but a sliding door) for the bathroom of our room. Thus, privacy was a bit of a struggle. Fortunately, there is always the option to send someone out onto the balcony to enjoy the view….

The view from our room and balcony was straight onto the sea - just gorgeous. Georgia was an accommodating, very friendly host with good recommendations.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the attractions and the restaurants/bars and a beautiful view over the sea both from the room and from the nice terrace, which was equipped with table, chairs and sofa. Good air conditioning, complimentary bottle of water in the fridge and coffee/tea in the common area. Giorgio was very kind and helpful. I would stay there again if I have the chance to visit Acitrezza again.

Parking was a bit of a pain. There is a close municipal paid parking lot we ended up using a few times because there was nowhere else to park. The internet was a bit spotty at times, especially on the verandah.

Giorgio was a great host. Unfortunately the a/c in our room broke, and he graciously offered another room to us for 2 available nights. The location in Aci Trezza is great, right by the boardwalk and a beautiful view from the veranda. The breakfast was as expected, and came with as many cappuccini you could drink. The rooms were immaculate, sheets crisp and clean, and otherwise the place was in great shape. The a/c not working really was a problem unfortunately as Sicily is so hot in July. This vital detail, which was not clarified at the time of booking, made our stay less valuable and more expensive than anticipated. Considering the premium we paid for a private balcony, the reality of a shared space was a disappointing discovery. The event not only infringed on our privacy but also raised serious security concerns, as the possibility of a stranger entering our room was not something we had considered. In light of this experience, potential visitors should be aware of the shared balcony and the potential privacy and security issues it may pose. Despite the appealing sea view and cleanliness, this aspect might make you reconsider the price-value proposition of the apartment.

The apartment offers a picturesque sea view and generally maintains a clean environment. The bed quality is mediocre at best, yet overall, the accommodation can be considered acceptable for a short stay of one or two days. The primary attraction of this apartment was its balcony with an unobstructed sea view. However, during our stay, we faced an unexpected situation that significantly compromised our experience. We were enjoying the serene sounds of the waves in our room with the balcony doors open, when an uninvited individual walked in. This incident led us to the startling realization that the balcony is a shared space, accessible to occupants from other rooms.

Giorgio was a superb host. Firstly, we arrived out of hours and Giorgio ensured we could gain access to the room using WhatsApp with clear instructions in English. Secondly, although we had not booked breakfast in advance, he happily organised a very tasty breakfast at the last minute. Lastly, my little boy left his favourite blanket in the room and we only realised later when we'd got to the Aeolian Islands for a week. Giorgio made sure we were able to pick it up on the way back to Catania the following week, which was out of hours. Fabulous.

The room was stuffy with no ventilation, but opening the windows helped. A bit of a small room for four people.

Very good location and access to parking. Breakfast was way better than expected. Host was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and bathroom was spacious and very clean. Quiet B&B and calm neighbourhood but close to many restaurants and bars.

The place is a bit away from downtown Catania, so if you don´t drive, taxis are expensive to go downtown, and the buses would take around 45 minutes and they come by once an hour. Timing yourself well this is not an issue, but if you miss one you are stuck waiting for an hour for the next.

The view is amazing! We got the room with the sea view, so from the window and our balcony we could see the beautiful coast of Aci Castello. The place is literally in the sea road. crossing the street you can go down to the water. The staff was very kind, helpful and accomodating. Even when we arrived at 1:30 am from our flight, all the instructions to get in worked perfectly well. Plenty of good restaurants near by, and very calm neighborhood. We booked some excellent tours recommended by the Oasis Staff and they picked us up.

Loved the terrace and the sea view is a must . It's walking distance to restaurants in the evening after a full day driving to these little hide aways in the area , like galle d Oro and savoca, taormina acicastello etc...

Everything was good. Maybe more choice for breakfast items.

The location was perfect. The view from our room was amazing. Sitting on the bed and looking at the gorgeous blue sea, first thing in the morning was a first. Depite being on the sea front the area was quiet. The room was clean and well kept. Will definitely visit again. The host was friendly.

For the price paid, I found no cons.

Rooms were well taken care of and very clean. The sea view is really there and actually very close to the sea (you can see the Ciclopi). There is a big terrace shared with all the rooms and available to have breakfast. The host is a very nice guy and makes good cappuccinos. Recommended stay if you want to visit Catania, Etna or even if you go there for the sea and beaches.
