This apartment is perfect, it is spotless and it has everything you can possibly imagine. It is spacious, cosy and comfortable, in a great location but also in quiet neighbourhood. We really appreciated safe and private parking. The owner of the place is super helpful and such a nice guy, ready to help you out at any moment. Would highly, highly recommend!

Our trip to Sicily was unforgettable. Catania, a city that enchants. This time we found an apartment that we want to return to again and again. Odeon House Catania is located in the center, within walking distance of all the main attractions of the city, not to mention restaurants and small shops. If you are traveling by car, then closed parking is next to the house. The apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean. We had problems with the booking due to the fault of the booking.соm, Gaetano worked it all out by himself. For which special thanks to him!

Spacious room in an excellent location. We liked the traditional furniture and feel to the place. It is a small kitchen but has everything you need. The proprietor is friendly and helpful.

- The streets around are a bit busy (motorbikes) so if you are a light sleeper, better take ear plugs.

- Location is perfect, great view and close to everything, - Host is friendly and helpful, - Flat has everything you need, - The place looks better in real life than on photos.

If you are looking for a studio in the old city this apartment could work. It is very centrally located with a secure parking space 1/2 block from the house. Gaetano provides breakfast via vouchers at a bar nearby. There is a very small kitchen (no oven) but when it is hot who wants to turn on the oven anyway.

The view was great and it was nice to have a little balcony overlooking the ruin. The location is a great base-camp to explore Catania. You get vouchers for breakfast at one of the local cafes which I have not come across before, but ultimately I really liked it! The suite has a small kitchen and overall was very comfortable.

I wrote him my arrival in the evening and he was there in a minute, helped me with the basic orientation in the city, showed my the flat. During the accommodation he answered me for any question. There was some noise as the sightseeing tour going past the building, but not a real problem as we were out most of the day anyways.

Gaetano was a great host. He met us on arrival, even though we arrived rather late, and gave us the keys and a lot of tips on what to see, where to eat/drink etc... The apartment is spacious, fully equipped with everything you might need, very clean and comfortable. Central to all local attractions, we mostly walked everywhere from here. Lovely stay, would definitely stay here again, thank you!

The only thing that could bother you is that’s a little bit noisy during the night

The location, how spacy it is, it has all necessary amenities for the longer stay. Your own parking spot is a big plus as well, having in mind you are in the city center

Beautiful apartment with 3 small balconies, all we needed for 3 day stay was there. Very tidy and rwcently renovated. We loved the wooden furniture and over all design. It is ocated in walking distance from different sightseeing objects. The host was very helpfull and nice. Also parking was in closed teritory which is super nice in Catania.

Absolutely perfect! Apartment is located in the centre in a quiet and relatively clean locality. Very nice view on historical monument. Excellent unique place. Terraces (there are several) are beautiful. Absolutely silent, unlike in many parts of the city. Very close to any central place you would like to visit. Very convenient offering of the shuttle from the airport anytime. If you stay for a long time, there is a washing machine with all needed. Kind offering of coffee machine with capsules was an excellent surprise.

Highly recommended! The host was amazing, very helpful and eager to improve our stay with some good recommendations. He welcomed us in the middle of the night in the apatment. The apartment is made in Sicilian style. The room was large, the kitchen is well equipped. The wifi was super fast and the balcony view was wonderful even more in the night. The location was very good for city walks.

This has nothing to do with Gaetano, or the accomodation, but wa a feature of Catania during our stay. The arrangements for refuse disposal do not seem to be very efficient and during the week rubbish built up around the overflowing dumpsters.

Our host Gaetano was at the door to greet us. he showed us around and explaineed how everything worked. He also told us about the city and sent us some recommendations for restaurants - and those that we went to were very good indeed. He included a bottle of wine and one of water in the fridge and even gave us another bottle of prosecco because it was my buirthday. He even gave us a voucher for a free breakfast at a local cafe, Sgroi. It was excellent and we took breafast there several times. He was always available to answer messages and responded very quickly to requests. We could not have wanted a better host: there when needed, but not intruding on our stay. Everything in the apartment worked as it should have and the air conditioning was very welcome in the hot weather we experienced in Catania. It was lovely to be able to sit on the balconies and to watch the people coming and going in the street below. We had a wonderful view of the ancient Roman theate from there too. We were very close to the busy World Heritage Site in the city centre, but also in a quiet spot which made the stay more relaxing. There are good restaurants very close from traditional 4 course establishments, to pizza,, street food and fast food/crepes as well as local cafes providing coffee, snacks and wonderul cakes. ther is a good small supermarket about 5 minutes away where you can pick up on essentials, as well as a great bakery and a patisserie. The city itself is beautiful, with many options for sightseeing which I am sure any visitor will find for themselves. we also took a tour of the city with a guide, a sea excursion to the caves of the Cyclops, and a full day excursion to Etna with exploration of volcanic craters, lava tubes an excellent lunch with wine tasting and a visit to the Alcantara gorge. You can visit other cities and villages of the East coast via public transport or by organised excursion.

After a bumpy start — the taxi-driver dropped us in the wrong location! — we were more than satisfied with our stay here. The kitchen is tiny but we still managed to make some lovely meals here.

It is a bit noisy because of the few cars passing on cobblestone, but I think it is worth for the location and the view.

The apartment is very good located, few steps away from the must sees. It is well equiped, spacious, with a nice atmostphere. The view of the Teatro Romano is stunning!
