It was perfect, comfy, quiet and so welcoming. The host was the best ever. We would go back.

The bedroom was on a mezzanine so required a flight of stairs. We didn’t realize they would be a little on the steeper side which my husband found a bit challenging with bad knees! But for just two nights, this was manageable.

Our host Giuseppe was very responsive and helpful upon arrival, explained everything clearly, and introduced his sweet mother Piera (hope I spelled that correctly!). The apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom a good size. Easy parking just down the street and around the corner - 2 minute walk from apartment. Historical centre a ten minute walk, laundromat a five minute walk. The breakfast was brought to our room by Piera and was what we requested the night before. Nice traditional sweet and savoury pastries, yogurts, coffee, and tea provided in the kitchen to make.

The host was extremely kind and thoughtful, the design of the appartament was lovely, super clean and in a very quite and good location (10 min walk to the historical center). We found a free parking lot just in a front of the building which was a relief! We could choose what to serve at the breakfast and the owners were very flexible about the hours and food we served. The apartament we stayed has 1 bedroom with a big bed and an open living with an extensible sofa . Higly recommended!

This property was in a great location to walk around Lecce. We had a hire car and it was easy to find a parking spot close by. The breakfast provided was amazing. Wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this property if you are visiting Lecce.

Nothing - it was perfect.

The apartment was beautiful, modern facilities yet still very quaint Italian decor and building. It was spotlessly clean. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were generous and delicious. Each evening they would check in by What's App to see if we had any particular preference for breakfast. The son speaks English which was very helpful and they went out of their way to collect us from the bus station on arrival and drop us back on our departure. Great location to the old town, train station and local shops. It was so much more than just a Bed and Breakfast.

Everything was excellent. Could not be better.

The apartment is in a great location, tidy and beautiful, and the host's hospitality has delighted us most. The breakfast was beyond our expectations, Italian, sweet and delicious. Our hosts Piera and her son were so nice, attentive and made to feel us at home in the beautiful Lecce. We highly recommend this apartment for those who coming to Lecce.

It was a really beautiful apartment stylish furnishings. Well equipped kitchen however a wooden spoon and a bread knife.and cutting board would make it perfect. Free street parking , close to old Leece . Giuseppe explain everything in English and was helpful. His mother the host very friendly and brought us wonderful breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike.

Throughout the communication and friendliness was exceptional. The beautifully restored accommodation was generous with a comfortable & elegant living room below the mezzanine bedroom, dining kitchen and large shower room. The location is very quiet and walking distance to the station and old city but we were offered pick ups both to and from the property. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room.

There was nothing to dislike!

Oikos Atena was the highlight of my time in Salento.  My studio was comfortable, spotless, and decorated to make me feel like I had found a second home in southern Italy.  The breakfasts were plentiful, fresh, and tasty, and the owner thoughtfully went out of her way to offer, and then provide a variety of local sweet and savory pastries from a local bakery.  The prettiness and comfort of the room along with the variety and quality of the local breakfasts were truly remarkable and stand out from any other bed and breakfast experience!  In addition, the best of many bests was the thoughtfulness, positive energy, kindness, and generosity of the owner.  She and her son made themselves available to answer all my questions about my stay, Lecce, and nearby areas.  I was travelling solo, and their consistent support and thoughtfulness made a great trip become a perfect trip.  I can't wait to go back!

It’s a gem I wish to keep it secret. It’s well appointed, esthetic design, supper clean and quiet in very good location. The host is very nice, her son speaks English and it’s very helpful. Breakfast is incredible.

Excellent location on a quiet street right by the historic town. Beautifully decorated flat on the 1st floor, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water, strong wi fi and a very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast of either Italian pastries (savory and sweet) or continental with ham and cheese, bread and fresh fruit. Owners Piera and her son Giuseppe are extremely nice and helpful.
