Everything was good.

Everything was perfect at Oikos in Terre Di Zaccanello! An amazing family experience with dear Giulia and her family. A place were history meet passion and creativity and a lot of hardworking. A pice of Heaven from where the Moon and Stars look closer and magic. Interesting rooms and vey clean, varied breakfast and a Michelin star comparable dining experience, amazing olive oil, very nice swimming pool area surrounded by nature . Safe,elegant and relaxing atmosphere.

LOVED how beautiful the property is, right on an olive grove. We really got to know Giulia and her family! They have an amazing bartender, who cooked us lunch the day we got there because we had just arrived from Palermo airport. We did an olive oil tasting and learned the history of Zaccanello! The pool and pool bar is also a plus. My husband and I can’t wait to come back! Thank you guys!!

A little difficult to find - need a few road signs.

After a day traveling from Palermo to Scala dei Turchi and Valley of the Temples, it was a little oasis of quiet relaxation. The garden is beautiful, the rooms tastefully decorated and the food delicious. It was a shame we were not staying longer. A fantastic family business!

Our stay in Zaccanello was simply exceptional from start to finish. The Dwelling, which is a large, recently renovated farm house is set on a magnificent farmland just outside of Agregento. The who complex has a beautiful boutique feel with modern and stylish updates giving a luxurious edge. Our main host Giulia was amazing from start to finish and couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. You also make the best cappuccino in the whole of Sicily! Thank you so much for making our trip to Sicily extra special :)

The quiet location with the olive gardens around and the cozy yard and facilities that the hosts have created for their guests. Very friendly and accommodating hosts - always a pleasure to share a glass of wine in the evening or enjoy the excellent gusto breakfast in the morning!

One of the most wonderful places we've stayed. The Julia and Peter were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They understood our needs and managed to fulfill every wish we had. The place is very idilic and everything there is with good taste. We experienced the sicilian culture at it's finest. At the and of the trip we felt more like staying at friends more than in a hotel. We will definitely come back to visit our sicilian friends!

The size of our room was tiny although the bathroom was great - the shower was the best we had in our month of travelling. But the bedroom size was very disappointing - no storage and basically a room with a very large bed in it. Room had a glass door to the path outside but no window so no view / balcony or terrace. But the swimming pool made up for it.

Breakfast was lovely - appreciated all the home cooked goods made from the farm produce. The barbecue provided by our hosts on our second evening was spectacular - made the night so special as we spent our stay here with family from Ireland. An Aussie Irish reunion - a huge thank you to Peter, Julia and their staff/family.

We really felt at home in this elegantly restored 18th century farmhouse. Julia and her friend took great care of us. The breakfast was outstanding, with lots of fresh fruit and nuts from their property. We followed their advise on sights and restaurants, which were all fabulous. It's only that Booking limits the review at 5 stars, otherwise there would have been at least 6! Giulia and Peter have made our stay very special, with exceptional service and hospitality. The location is amazing, being located at the middle of their olive garden grounds, with the guests being allowed to pick their own fruit on the farm. Breakfast is delicious. Giulia and Peter are able to perfect your stay. Thanks again for the poolside cocktail workshop and perfect restaurant reservation. You really made our stay the best of our entire Sicily trip!

Oikos in Terre di Zaccanello is little paradise away from all the hustle of life. Me and my partner we spent 3 nights over there and enjoyed every moment of it. The property is like small exclusive boutique hotel with 5 rooms only, run by very nice family/friends combo and providing the best service you can expect. It’s located close to Agrigento, surrounded by the olive and figs trees. The room we stayed was very well equipped with amazing shower and very comfortable beds. All is new and very clean. The everyday cleaning service is also on top. You can find delicious breakfast served every day and composed of home/local made products. We were also offered lunch and apperitivo on request, which was also amazing. There is wonderful swimming pool and bar next to it. If you are looking to relax and unwind this is the perfect place to stay. Special thank you to Julia and Piotr for taking care of us so well.

If you want to immerse yourself in Sicilian culture of today, then Zaccenello is for you: unique cuisine, beautiful gardens and surrounding terroir with home-grown fruits and olives, quality extra virgin olive oil, and a beautifully restored farmhouse with hip/contemporary interiors. Giulia and her family (mum from Basilicata, dad from Sicily, partner Peter from Poland, and sister Federica), won't hesitate to share their individual passions with you. Do - have dinner at least once at the property. The food is home-cooked by Giulia's mum, celebrates local cuisine, local produce, and is outstanding Do - have Federica pair each course with Zaccarello extra virgin olive oils. Her passion brings olive oil to life and the experience is akin to appreciation of fine wine Do - stay in for drinks and/or BBQ at the pool bar and engage with Peter. No subject is off limits. It's like catching up with an old friend you haven't been able to see for a while Do - try Giulia's fig and Gin cocktail. It's legendary. What do you expect? The figs dropped off a tree only a few metres away. If you've never eaten a fig still hot from being picked directly from the tree, then this alone is the reason to go to Zaccarello ! Beautiful hotel. located in between olive and fruit trees in the proximity of Agrigento. The area is very relaxing, structure is beautifully decorated, the surroundings inspiring and make unwinding very easy!! The owners / managers are fantastic people and they made us feel special the moment we stepped into the property. Lastly, the breakfast is to dream about - locally sourced fruit, fresh eggs and homemade jams & juices helped us start the day in the best way possible.

A beautiful property but in a remote area with out amenities that travelers need. There was no food available except breakfast and to drive on the winding roads to the nearby town was not appealing. Especially when we wanted to have a few glasses of wine with our dinner. The owners need to be on site more and provide more amenities to succeed.

the room was very small, especially for a hotel marketed as a luxury farm stay, all the rooms were packed in the same tiny building, we could hear our neighbors pee dogs came barking at our door on the first night, it was impossible to sleep the bedding was not comfortable and the bathroom was equipped with the most annoying movement detector lighting system thé staff was not very professional, we wanted to have lunch at the hotel one day and the only option available was pasta with tomato sauce. we were expecting more options given the farm stay positioning
