Location was central. Easy to walk everywhere. Breakfast every morning was plentiful with a large assortment to choose from. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with dinner reservations, etc... We had a suite on the 3rd floor and there was plenty of room to relax without feeling confined. Pillows and bed were comfortable. With the hotel situated off of the main piazza, we were concerned about the noise level. Happily, we had no trouble with the outside noise that some other travelers mentioned in their review. We would definitely stay here again

The staff were friendly, efficient and could not be more helpful. Our room was comfortable and tastefully furnished. We were close to the main square of the town which held live music events, but the soundproofing and air conditioning in our room meant that we could hear nothing unless we wanted to. The location in the centre of town was perfect.

Breakfast was very limited - I would have liked to see a great variety.

The location was both very convenient and absolutely lovely. Piazza Del Nettuno is the perfect spot from which to explore Bologna. The staff at the hotel were wonderful - allowing us to check in shortly after we made our reservation, as well as providing many restaurant and other recommendations.

Perfect boutique hotel in a perfect location. Not only did we get a free upgrade to a suite but everything about the hotel was, well, perfect: light, spacious room, beds extremely comfortable, bathroom excellent, good wifi, amazing breakfast, impeccable service, outstanding decor - old world but neither old-fashioned nor remotely shabby. For me, a great hotel is all in the details and they get them all right, everything fully thought out from the guest's point of view.. We were overlooking the IV Novembre square, facing the Torre dell'Orlogio and the side of the Palazzio d'Accursio, right next to the Piazza Maggiore. Because we were leaving most of our luggage in our hire car, we used their private garage, which is five minutes walk away, very good for the historic centre.

We had a Suite so we had plenty of room. The decor was "old world" and very pleasant. The linens were clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. Close to Piazza Maggorie and many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

they didn't have a place in front to pause the car and drop off bags. I went about a block further to another hotel to drop my bags and we wheeled them back.

Superb location. The desk clerk was super friendly and anticipated our check-out time -he had the bill ready and had already called the taxi.

The bath tub was not accessible for my wife.

The location was perfect. The hotel was very elegant. The room (#39) was very large and beautiful. The breakfast was the best that I have seen. The bathroom was very close to perfect. It would have been better if the bathtub were replaced with a walk-in shower.

There was inadequate facilities for relaxing, just a small seating area near the breakfast room. It is rated as a 4 star hotel, but has Inadequate bar and food service for a 4 star hotel.

The location was excellent just close to piazza maggiore. Family run personal service. All the staff were really good, very friendly and helpful. Front desk and breakfast service was perfect. The room was cosy, comfortable and kept very clean. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. Amenities in the room were good with a powerful hairdryer!
