How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Common use toilets were not clean. Perhaps they can be cleaned more frequently. Locks of the toilet doors were old and inconvenient.

There is no air conditioner so it can be a bit hot even in spring. Inside the room, you cannot lock the storage cabinet. The room is not sound-proof so you can hear the closing door sound from the next-to-you room.
The location is perfect. You can travel by metro or bus to many attractions. The place is clean and staff are very nice. Since the dormitory room is only for female, it is a good choice for solo female travelers.

Hope to have sofa in the public area at 5th floor.

I lived on the 5th floor, and I think the shower rooms need to be updated.

The bar outside the hotel is a little noisy on some days and the bathroom had some water on the floor probably due to the shower drain being a little clogged.
Staff was very nice and helpful throughout the whole stay! Location was good as well, really close to Termini train station and another metro station just a 3-5 minute walk away. We took breakfast for the first night and it was good as well and had many options. The kitchen had utensils and a fridge which was very nice for storing our food!

Great location, Room is spacious and appreciated that there were single beds and no bunkbeds, that is usual for Hostel's layout. Room was big and plenty of space for all 4 tenants. Toilets were big as well, very clean. Grate stay, great location and a new level for the Hostel style.

I wish there was a private room, even if it were super small for the price. I didn't like that the lock had to be bought, but the safe was available, so my things were still safe - at least my passport and laptop.
The staff was super helpful and friendly. It was super clean, and close to Termini station which was perfect for me. The room was spacious and warm (very important since it's raining like crazy).

Room was not ready despite late check in, all you want is to rest after a long flight
No AC on the room, I arrived late around 8 pm and was informed that the room has problems, so need to wait- they gave me a bigger room with 3 beds and said i was upgraded.😞

A bit noisy because of other guests. Room is not soundproof but reception can help with that, as they mentioned.
Comfortable room. Everything super clean. A polite staff that was helpful after my late check-in time due to a flight delay.

Really very good budget option for single female travellers as this is female-only hostel rooms There are some double-rooms, but in general, this place feels very safe and beds are surprisingly comfy, not the type you expect from the hostel they have storage rooms (you need lock) and now introduced late night reception, which is AMAZING Also, don't forget common small kitchen facility on 5th floor and terrace on 6th floor Also, i saw they agreed to refund a guy who made a reservation there by mistake - which was very nice of them

You have to put your card in to get electricity, so when you go outside and take your card with you, your electronics can't be charged and your charging will be interrupted constantly, I hope they can just give us consistent electricity... The tourist attractions are quite far away if you walk there. Tower and lock is not free.
Most staff are nice, room is spacious and restrooms are abundant and spacious, very clean property, proximity to B line.
