The bathrooms are cleaned once a day only and it is not enough. It may be useful to put floormats outside to avoid wet floors all the time.

A cosy student dorm that is converted into a vintage hostel during the study break. The location is convenient near the train station about a 10-minute walk and has many shopping options and museums nearby. Although the city center is far away, walking across Venice is a nice walk anyway. Otherwise, the ferry stations are also about 5-minute walk. We got the corner room with a view on the small canal. Overall the room and corridors were quite clean. The room also had a washbasin that was very convenient and was comfortably spacious for two people. The roof-top area is amazing and we enjoyed sitting there later in the night.

Great location. You can walk to the main attractions but its far enough away so that you can enjoy the less touristy and more relaxing areas of Venice. Also good value for the location and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There is no air conditioning in the room, so it might be very hot in the summer period.

The location is really great - close to the railway station, Scuola San Rocco and St. Toma, with lots of eating places around. Within the building there are common rooms on the floor with historical furniture and great interiors, there is also the open roof. The place is quiet enough, the staff is truly nice.

There are certain rules that are very inconvenient (when can you check-in/check-out and leave the hostel and come back). You have to be in the hostel by 12:30 am. So, if you want to spend some time outside in late at night, that's not an option.

I liked nearly everything, it could have been less pricier ..

Good Location, well within the walking distance, both from the train/bus hubs and the main attractions - Rialto bridge and St. Mark's Square. But the best part was the super helpful front desk. They helped me like anything, to make me comfortable about the area in no time. Thank you ! Room was really good, and thanks for giving that fan, it saved from the heat :)

Great service and super comfortable! Location is great, once all the tourists leave Venezia you can stay there and enjoy Venezia in the evening is amaizing.

The cushion of the bed wasn't very comfortable and under the beds the floor was a bit dirty. But those are details. For the rest there aren't any lockers for bags but you can leave them near the reception.

The staff was very friendly and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. Also a bonus that the terras is open 24 hours. A really great location very near the trainstation. Also good air conditioning.

The building is old and very little renovations. The bathrooms and showers are quite bad and dirty. They work hard to keep rooms filled w/ either all men or all women. Buy mosquito spray because there is NO A/C and you must open window to breathe. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes and had over 100 bites. The choices for budget travelers are limited and this will work but not for more than 2-3 nights.

The location was good but not great. There was a nice terrace on the 4th floor & old elevator is very helpful. The staff were all super great and super social. The staff was the best part of this place. It's a big hostel so lots of people in and out.

Bunk bed was squeaky, but we just put the mattresses on the floor and that was comfortable.

Had to be in house by 12:30 pm. This is stressful when you’re on the other side of the island and trying to get bus taxis home by a certain time not knowing how long they take. Also, couldn’t get out of house until after 7 am.

The hostel is perfect in so many ways. It's not flashy or posh at all, but is just right. Our room was lovely, with old style twin beds a wash basin and a high ceiling. The room (no. 33) has views on two sides, over small canals. The atmosphere in the hostel is friendly and relaxed. Our shared bathroom was a few paces from our bedroom door. It was always available for showers and the water was warm and plentiful. The terrace on the fourth floor is great. It is a bit of a centre for smokers to gather, but there's a nice breeze up there and the views across the city are lovely. The cafe just outside the hostel's front door does a great cappuccino and croissant for very little money. My only disappointment is that the hostel only takes non-student guests (the general public) between mid-June and mid-September, as we'd love to come back in the spring. The area around the hostel is uncrowded and full of locals, and very pretty. And it's only a 5 minute walk from the railway station and main vaporetto stop at Ferrovia.

Bathrooms were rather not so clean. Floors were mostly wet, and shower areas had hair as well. Shared bathrooms can be tricky, though Hostel can always put wipers to help clean up after the act.

It was near the station, so we could quickly put our luggage and walk the city. Rooms were pretty alright.
