The bathroom of our room was way too basic, could have been ok for the former concept of youth hostel but definitely not up to the concept (and the price, quite expensive for beginning of March) of a "double room with sea view". No bidet (which in Italy is a must), no electricity plug, super basic plastic shower box. Not what you would expect.

Location is great - right in front of the sea, close to Miramare castle - and the atmosphere of the villa is worth the "sacrifice" of staying out of the city center. Excellent breakfast served by a very nice and professional lady.

Villa is very charming, position is close to the Miramare castle and it's easy to get to the city centre by car or bus. Staff was helpful and breakfast was tasty, we really liked lemon pie.

Despite written sign, the restaurant was closed for dinner. So be careful, because it's uneasy to find other options in area, especially in low season.

The parking can be complicated during the day as the place does not own private parking spots. The lady did her best in the kitchen, but she is obviously not enough for serving all the guests. The room was cute, but very small. It was not obvious during the booking process if the room comes with balcony or not.

Good location, spectacular view in a stylish villa building. The apartment is very clean. Villa Tergeste is close to the center and it is right at the feet of Miramare castle. There is a fish restaurant attached to the hotel.

The location right on the water is only a short drive from central Trieste, and ideally located when departing towards Venice and other points in Italy. They will serve scrambled or fried eggs on demand for breakfast. Parking on the street just outside the hotel is convenient.

We would have given it an overall rating of excellent apart from the beds in our room. We had the tower room and it stated a double bed but really they were two beds pushed together which created a fairly hard ridge in the middle. But apart from that loved the place.

We loved the place, and location. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the place has an incredible atmosphere.

The walls are quite thin, you hear visitors from the neighboring rooms quite often, the plumbing is also to hear quite loud. When you are sensitive bring earplugs.

Very good location (close to Castle Miramare), about 15 minutes away from Trieste by bus. Very friendly and helpful staff, its next to the sea.

Although this was known up front and we made the reservation with this in mind, air conditioning would be nice in the room, though the breeze from the sea helped us to get a good sleep.

Beautiful and calm location, perfect view to the sea. The room was recently refurbished and the whole atmosphere of the villa is very good. The staff was super kind and helpful! The seafood restaurant at the villa is definitely recommended, just be sure to book a table in advance. The breakfast was also great.

Bed was not very comfortable, the room was quite small and without too much space for clothes. If you spend longer time might not be very friendly room.

I was in transit, together with my wife and we stopped for a night. For us it was just a rest place, but we found it good for one night. The terrace was very nice and I assume in the season is a nice place to have dinner or lunch, with a beautiful view. Decent breakfast.
