Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Breakfast was really good - a lot of options and everything tasted delicious! We also like that it was quite calm area, no disturbance at night.

IrelandIf I were the manager or owner of the hotel, I would make sure close by outside terrace to the side of the premised would be looked after. Internal terrace was great though .
Exceptional stay for the price 3 of us paid. Considering great breakfast , it would be better staying here in hotel for a month rather renting for a month. Clean and tidy everywhere you go or look. Staff friendly and helpful, as they should.

United Kingdom- Electrical panel makes a very annoying sound, had to stay with the headphones on - Cleaning is sub par: hairs in the shower, WC/bidet not properly cleaned, dubious marks on the plastic bit you press to flush which had to clean myself, blanket had hairs on it (also, I am not sure why the blanket wasn’t prepared to begin with, we found a bedsheet and a very thin decorating pile on the bed in Torino in February), fridge full of what seemed like grated cheese that had spilled - no one had cleaned it prior to our arrival - Contacted the hotel 2 times via Booking messaging prior to arrival. Did not hear back / received any confirmation - Who came up with the idea of having a fixed shower head only? Very uncomfortable - Window opens 20 cm if that so it was difficult to ventilate the room
- Big bed - Friendly personel - Free parking places available outside the hotel (not sure if this is always the case, probably depends on the season as well) - Calm area - View of the mountains nearby from our window

GermanyAmong 100+ channels there is not a single international TV channels (well it's a luxury problem). Water kettle had to be rented per day. No complementary water bottle from the mini bar (luxury problem). The bed was rather small (1.40 X 2.00). Also in winter: no proper blankets, only bedsheet and woollen plaid.
Outside parking (along the street) seem quite possible but it has a spacious underground parking for a reasonable price. The hotel is a bit outside of the center and thus easier to reach (no crazy amounts of pedestrians you need to consider). Quite nice breakfast included. Common area and room were very clean and kept in good condition.

United StatesThe location is safe, but far from everywhere you'd want to go as a tourist. We chose the hotel because more centrally located ones were all taken. Taxis into town were about 15 euro. The breakfast, at 15 euro, is not very good. We also hadn't realized that for suites, the cost for each person is an additional 25 euro per night.
The suite we reserved was spacious and comfortable. There was ample room in the lobby/library to relax. Torino's newly renovated Palazzo Reale has an extraordinary picture gallery, with paintings by Van Eyck, Rembrandt, etc in addition to Italian masters.

GermanyWhen we got back to the hotel from the ATP Tour Finals on Saturday night the hotel bar was closed. A glass of beer or wine would have been nice to unwind after a long day out. The mini bar in our room offered water, which we had had all day :-)
The hotel is situated in a quiet area with good access to public transport. The hotel breakfast offers a huge variety: muesli, yoghurt and fruit; bread and rolls, cold meets, chesees and jams etc., cakes and more; teas and coffees, juices and water... We had a small room on the 4th floor: clean and quiet. Perfect for exploring the city.

LithuaniaLocation - it was quite far from the city center, and public transport not so intuitive being the first time in Turin, so we ended up using taxis to go to the city and back. Sound insulation to the corridor was not very good. There was no restaurant at the hotel (or very close by).
We liked that it was very quiet during the night from outside. For my wife, breakfast exceeded expectations, and for me hot options could have been better (fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms were missing) although there was plenty of cold things and cakes to choose from. The rooms were cosy and had everything we needed. The price for the room was good (similar level hotel in the city center was almost double the price).

Saudi ArabiaWhen we arrived, the parking lot was full. We parked in front of the hotel. Unfortunately we got robbed as I found my rental car’s window broken and everything was stolen inside the car. It seems that the area isn’t safe. Therefore, if your car is not from Italy, don’t park on public parkings.
