Rooms and public areas of this hotel are in need of a renovation soon.

Great location - in the heart of the city center and just a 15 min walk from the railway station. Lots of lovely restaurants near by. Friendly staff. Our room was clean and the breakfast was included, so we had everything we needed for our short stay there.

The hotel needs a makeover, it is quite old and it shows. I also found very unpleasant the noise coming from the cinema next door, on friday until almost 2 a.m..

Room wasn't set up as requested on booking, although was quickly changed.

I'd upgraded my room to a twin from single but when we checked in the bed was a double, they quickly sorted that and remade it to twin beds. Room was fine, everything worked, Bologna is expensive for hotels so this was fairly OK value considering the alternatives but still, overall, it's expensive for what you get - again, the city is expensive not this hotel! Checkout was easy and quick, desk staff were okay to good. It's pretty much right in the centre so pedestrian access is easiest, or public transport. Good location for the central sights.

It is a very dated hotel and really in need of an update. It creates a very bad first impression. Almost tempted to leave and go to another but it does grow on you.

The location is excellent and very close to the centre of Bologna. The staff are very pleasant too.

Not hotel related: if you plan to park your car there, google maps will lead close to the parking garage but not exactly there, so you will have to check the map and drive there finding the way (it is a 2 minutes drive though),

The location is perfect, right in the city center, at the beginning of a no-cars area. The personnel is extremely friendly and professional, and welcomes you with a big smile. The rooms are quite big. The hotel is quite vintage, reminding of old times, so expect to sleep a bit in the past.

Poor sound insulation. Neighboring cinema could be heard throughout our entire floor. Room was shaking with the movie's audio.

From furniture to bathroom everything in the room was kinda old. I do not know if the choice was on purpose. Everything was functioning well, though.

Breakfast was fine. The hotel is located close to the Bologna central station.

Lmaooooo you haaave to stay here, what an experience. It’s like stepping into a Wes Anderson film. You can imagine that it’s 1972 and you’re visiting a sophisticated Italian hotel, with a bidet shower combo, carpeted rooms and various chandeliers in the lobby. Honestly was one of the funniest/ most interesting hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Staff were very kind and spoke several languages. Fantastic location.

The overall hotel could do with a renovation/makeover and given the location then it would take it to another level if so.

The staff of the hotel very friendly and nice people. The location is superb and the surrounding areas great. The room was fine.

The hotel is right next to a cinema and the sound of the movies was audible in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were partially crumbling. The matresses on the bed were not very comfortable.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was a dream! The building was very glamorous, even if it was somewhat faded
