Great little hotel in a quaint and fun town

No heat in the bathroom but it just happened to be cold when we stayed. The night staff were not as friendly as the morning staff. We ate at the adjoining restaurant and were very disappointed. Not only was the wait staff rude but the food was so so for being a bit pricey.

Loved the large suite with view of the sea, large bathtub and the location. Breakfast had nice options.

The hotel does not have an elevator but staff are available to assist with luggage if needed.

The hotel's location is a 1 minute walk from the beach. A large cliff at on end of the beach with castle atop it adds to the mood. This is a spectacular stretch of coastline. Our room was large and comfortable and because it was off season parking was readiky available.

A slight problem with hot water at the beginning - meant i had ti change rooms

Very high end palazzo - with nice xtras like bathrobes and slippers. After a long journey and a shaky start the owner was fabulous. Her mother provided a brilliant italian meal and gorgeous red wine to make up for some confusion. In the morning a great breakfast including freshly squeezed juice and lots of goodies. Constantino on reception couldnt have been kinder and sorted out my transfer to my second hotel and looked after my bags while i went exploring. Highly recommended

It was a little difficult getting our suitcases up the stairs.

Great position just on the beach and with an excellent paid parking service for our car. The breakfast was also excellent.

We were at the 3rd floor with no lift and 2x20kg luggages 😵‍💫 The staff can definitely be a lot more helpful with information of what to do and where to eat. It was a bit disappointing that as food options they only suggested eating at their restaurant.. Smart TV missing as well.

Very large and spacious room with a little balcony and nice breakfast included. Seafront hotel with the possibility to have beach towels for free to enjoy beautiful Cristal clear water of scilla

The room was uncomfortably hot when we arrived, there was lack of communication from staff about air conditioning and other things such as breakfast times. Staff were generally really nice but didn’t communicate properly with us.

The location is magnificent. We loved being just metres from the beach and lots of restaurants. Scilla has been a standout destination and we really got to enjoy all that it offers while staying here.

The bed was not comfortable at all. Time for changing the mattress.

Staff attitude variable - really depended on who was at the desk

Good coffee and breakfast. Spacious rooms. We stayed on two separate nights, two weeks apart. When we arrived the first time, the woman on reception was exceptionally helpful in getting our parking issue sorted out and told the local police in no uncertain terms to push off! On arrival for our second visit, the young guy on reception was also extremely kind and even came out to carry some of our bags inside despite me saying it wasn't necessary. We appreciated the hotel so much the first time, we returned. Says it all.

There was an issue with the water as it was not warm, but this was rectified after we asked the staff although it took about two hours for them to come to the room! Also in the morning, the scrambled egg was cold and had to be reheated by microwave.

many things didn’t work in the room - water kettle, few wall sockets, lights and bulbs were missing, hot tub in the room was not functional.
