We needed a bit more communication ahead of time to deal with parking and the specific fix location of the palazzo since it was Sunday and all the roads were blocked to the old city.

Our room (4) was up two flights of stairs, which we knew, but guests should be aware of that. The rooms are full of artistic decor which is attractive, but which eliminates most useable shelves and storage alcoves.

The host, Davide, was excellent. He met us outside the city gate and walked us to the hotel. He provided great recommendations each night for dinner and made several reservations for us. He was instantly responsive on WhatsApp to any request or question. There is a roof top terrace above rooms 3 and 4 which we enjoyed in the afternoon before dinner. Good AC, lots of hot water, good room darkening shades, clean and quiet. The location just inside the old town gate was ideal for both sightseeing and dining, and just a short roller bag walk.

Very friendly staff to check us in. We were quite delayed but it wasn't an issue at all. We' were given many great tips on where to eat and visit. The room was very large with the most beautiful tiles in the shower. We had a lovely little balcony, which was nice to have fresh air. Randomly , the accomodation smelt absolutely amazing. Everytime we walked in ...I thought...YUMM! Location wise was perfect ! Stay here again for sure .

Location is perfect! Right in the middle of everything which we enjoyed as you can easily walk anywhere within the town. The room was spacious, very clean and theres a beautiful rooftop terrace for relaxing. Also, the bedding and pillows were the most comfortable so far throughout our trip. Our host Davide was excellent! Very prompt and responded to messages right away about any questions we may have. Wifi also very good! We would stay here again whenever back in Polignano

Davide was a brilliant host, full of local knowledge and his bright smile was the first thing we saw every morning! He went above and beyond for us during our 5 night stay. The room is brilliantly located in the old town, but just off the main street, so it was very quiet considering how central it is. Spacious, clean and had a balcony which was lovely to sit out during the evening. Couldn't recommend enough and would be delighted to return.

Palazzo Maringelli is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you are looking to stay in heart of the historic Polignano a Mare. Our host was very helpful, friendly and available to message if anything was needed. The room is very nicely decorated and clean, it's perfect for a couple looking to explore the area. It is a short walk to the famous beach in Polignano and close to amazing restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again when we return.

In the lovely old town. Nice and quiet at night with double glazing. Our own private balcony with the added bonus of a roof to terrace. Impeccably clean. Breakfast vouchers for a cafe in the square was a nice touch.

Check-in. City tax to be paid by cash, they had no change so we ended up paying more. Information about the airco and other elements of the stay/city would have been appreciated. It took us a hot night before realizing the airco falls out when opening the door to the terrace or have a small window unlocked. Parking with shuttle service is overpriced (20e/night) to other city options, though most safe and comfy.
