I would welcome bathrobes and slippers in the room. Also, the lovely view is not from the room, but from the tower that belongs to the room however there are 60 rather steep steps leading up to it. The beds are quite soft and the shared mattress on the double bed means that the jiggling and movement from one side disturbs the other.

   Excellent location, all major sights are within walking distance. The room was clean and air conditioned.

Mini Bar with overpriced items. Most places we visited gave free things. For one thing, it takes up the whole fridge, another is that it is extremely expensive and overpriced.

The breakfast was not to our taste. It might be typical italian breakfast (very sweet). But the savory breakfast is completly missing. So I would suggest to completly skip breakfast in the hotel.

The view from the tower is amazing. The service of the staff is outstanding. This hotel has so many small things that makes the stay very pleasant and comfortable.

Staff could have more training. No one introduced themselves. The older gentleman was efficient, and friendly. The younger man was not engaged in his work as in not helpful at all. Breakfast service was different with each person who served. Tea drinkers beware the water was lukewarm and there was no basic black tea.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Communication was excellent. The hotel contacted me by WhatsApp the day before our stay, so when we knew we would arrive earlier than planned, we let them know and they had our room ready. Reception were efficient and had some good tips for us for dining and sightseeing. We were made to feel very welcome. The hotel was peaceful and our room was quiet, so we got a good sleep each night.

Upgraded to room with a sauna. Door was tricky to close properly so didn’t use it as was worried I’d get locked in. Told the team and think they should have taken it off the bill or made some concession.

The ventilation system in the bathroom too noisy every time we turned on the light in the bathroom that would turn on as well was a bit annoying. Also there was a faint smell of maybe mould .

The location is great being in the centre of the city close to must sees art, museum restaurants amd shops. The palazzo is beautiful both outside and inside and with surprise we noticed a beautiful perfume shop in the courtyard but we had a Taxy waiting so we could not go in. Another great feature was the lift built in early 19th century the second of the city. Room was spacious bed comfortable and big and most important clean.

Beware the reception closes at 7pm in the winter months, but security of the Palazzo is excellent.

Room is 4 star+, breakfast for Euro 5 was a sweet breakfast, very continental but more than enough that only a snack lunch was necessary to see us through to dinner. The location is a 2minute walk to the doors of Santa Croce Basilica and only 10 minutes to most other venues.

Beautiful little boutique hotel (ony 9 rooms/suites) situated inside a secure, private courtyard on a quiet side street. Yet it was around the corner from the Basilica Santa Croce and only a 5-minute walk from the Galleria Uffizi. Perfectly located to walk to all the major sites, restaurants, shopping etc. yet the area maintained the feel of a local neighborhood with school children in the piazza, folks grabbing a morning cafè and croissant on their way to work and lots of people out for evening stroll. While the door to our room (#9) was on the hotel's only floor, once past the door we had to decend a flight of carpeted stairs to our suite. This was not a problem for us but could be for anyone with a mobility issue. We had not been advised beforehand; as the hotel was full booked there were no other rooms available. Most of the staff were friendly yet professional. We would return to the Palazzo Roselli Cecone in a heartbeat!
