First time to Gavi and it was a pure joy! I received a wonderful, warm welcome upon check-in and Raffaella had so many great recommendations for the area. I enjoyed a nice aperitivo in the piazza just downstairs and loved strolling in town and walking to the fort. The room itself was spotless in addition to being spacious and modern. The large windows overlooking the piazza were a plus for me, though be aware that there will be activity and noise from the restaurant and bar downstairs. For me it was no problem at all — it’s part of the fun of being in the center! Breakfast in the morning was just perfect. Friendly service and beautiful buffet selection. All in all, a pleasant night in Gavi!

I didn’t like the fact that my time there was too short.

I loved everything. The decor was a perfect mix between vintage and modern. This beautiful palazzo is even better in person. Besides all its charm the whole place is spotless, super clean! I looked in every little corner as I always do and it was spotless. The gathering room with its original frescos made you feel like you were back in the 1700’s. The perfect place to read a book or have wonderful conversations. Our room (where Napoleon Bonaparte stayed in 1805) was to die for. The bed was so perfect due to its super comfortable mattress and pillows it made us feel like staying in all day. The delicious vino and home baked cookies we absolutely delicious. Raffaella, Paola and their husbands was the most caring and accommodating people I have ever met. Everything we asked for and needed they never hesitated to provide or help find. The bar downstairs is the perfect place to have a cocktail or two as the wonderful bartender knows how to make amazing cocktails. Both strong and delicious. She never disappointed in anyway. I came to Gavi for the outlets but absolutely fell in love with Palazzo Sertorio and Gavi itself. I will most definitely come back over and over. Thank you all for the most wonderful experience!!

It's an old building and refurbished with style and taste to a very high standard. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom very good. The aircon worked well and it was hot outside! Rafaella could not have been more helpful - arranging a reservation for me in a very good local restaurant.

This place was simply outstanding. I have never been to such an amazing place in my life and I will never forget this trip. The history of the hotel and the out-of-this world service is unbelievable. I really really REALLY recommend going there for holiday. You feel like royalty.
